Locate work areas using drawings and electronic resources that specify airplane and section numbers.

Verify kitted parts against installation plans and bill of materials for accuracy and suitability.

Determine and obtain the correct fasteners from PCA/MMO control per specifications.

Set up assembly tools according to tooling instructions, ensuring locators are correct for the model.

Align and secure parts on the airplane using tooling holes and clamps, checking for proper margins.

Install and rework interior parts and assemblies, including carpets, stowbins, and seats.

Select and use appropriate drill bits, reamers, and countersinking tools for pilot and full-size holes.

Drill, ream, and countersink holes in parts/assemblies per specifications and instructions.

Disassemble parts, deburr holes, and prepare surfaces for fastener installation.

Apply sealants, primers, adhesives, and corrosion-inhibiting compounds as required by specifications.

Job Summary

Entry level engineer/project construction administration providing support to the Capital Improvements Project Team. Assists experienced engineers/coordinators in developing project criteria, studies, plans, specifications, providing calculations, tracking budgets, reviewing construction documentation, and communication related to City Capital Projects.

Principal Accountabilities
Entry level non-supervisory engineer/construction administration. Reports to the Capital Projects Supervisor for coordinated work with experienced engineers and coordinators. Accountable for the follow tasks:

Assists in various phases of City Capital Improvement Project work including contract administration, project management documentation, public outreach and accounting.
Supports dissemination of project information to other City Groups and Divisions.
Aids in the recording of construction records documentation.

Essential Functions

Supports dissemination of project information by preparation of exhibits.
Helps gather stakeholder requirements for technical specifications to promote quality assurance.
Performs field reconnaissance when/as required.

Reviews traffic control plans with the Traffic Engineer.
Responds to public inquiries or complaints relating to construction activities, standards, administrative procedures, and requested improvements.
Provides public counter and back-up telephone coverage. Provides information regarding the policy of the City in response to inquiries.
Assists in maintaining and updating Kirkland Pre-Approved Plans for the Public Works Department.
Conducts field inspection on an as needed basis to assist inspection staff when workload or absences dictate.
Maintaining the CIP Group's Lessons Learned file.

Identify security threats in applications and infrastructure and provide remediation mentorship to system owners.
Join forces with SRE and development teams to find new and creative ways to reduce the occurrence of vulnerabilities at scale.
Build repeatable/reusable security processes and frameworks.
Review quality issues and work towards detecting security flaws both obvious and discrete.
Assist with scoping prospective projects, participating in projects from kickoff through "definition of done" via end-to-end ownership.
Use your industry experience to own and drive resolution and retest complex security events, policy questions and technical security risks.

Your experience should include...

7+ years of progressive security engineering experience across Security Architecture, Cryptography, Network, Cloud, Mobile, and Web Security.
Skilled in Secure Development Lifecycle, Security by Design, and Shift Left methodologies.
Proficient in Threat Modeling, Architecture Review, Penetration Testing, Code Review, SAST, and DAST.
Strong scripting abilities in languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, and PowerShell.
Adept at applying security best practices for compliance, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

You might also have...

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
Hosting industry and/or cloud Experience.
Experience in hardware security.
