Our company is seeking an experienced Trademark Litigation Paralegal with significant hands-on USPTO Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) experience to support high-stakes trademark proceedings for a major client. This hybrid position requires 2–4 days per week in the office, particularly during onboarding and training, with flexibility based on learning curve and familiarity with team processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support for trademark litigation matters before the USPTO TTAB, including trademark oppositions, cancellations, and appeals.
- Assist attorneys with motions practice, including drafting, filing, and managing motions to dismiss, summary judgment, and other procedural filings.
- Manage the discovery process, including preparing interrogatories, document requests, and coordinating written or oral depositions.

What You'll Do
- Collaborate effectively and appropriately with teachers, administration, parents and consultants/specialists, i.e. OT, mental health services, etc. Following up with Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) and Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP) concerns when necessary.
- Collaborate on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 plans with teachers, parents, and other specialists. Develop, implement, and train paraprofessionals on Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
- Provide one-on-one support with children in the classroom to meet specific developmental goals outlined in IEPs, and develop data tracking processes to track ongoing progress towards goals.
- Coach teachers and paraprofessionals and model developmentally appropriate classroom activities to support children with suspected or identified special needs. (expanding in SY 2025-2026 PBC coaches)
- Documentation and maintenance of confidential child files including ongoing tracking and documentation of interventions, assessments, family, teacher and administration communication.
- Support and collaborate with teachers, parents/caregivers, and Site Supervisor to identify and access resources (instructional materials, adaptive equipment, etc.) to help children flourish in classrooms.
- Meet with parents/ caregivers, in conjunction with teaching staff and paraprofessionals, to interpret ASQ's, parent conferences, IEP meetings, and assessments when needed.
- Provide referrals, advocate, and serve as liaison for additional family services, such as support for families with special needs, etc.
- Lead occasional parent/ caregiver and staff training on child development, special education and early intervention topics. Expanding in SY 2 PPP, Sparkler Developmental Playgroups)
- Collaborate with the Family Support Team to facilitate Center on the Social Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL) meetings and work with teachers to implement CSEFEL strategies in classrooms, including visual schedules and expectations.
Qualifications
You have a solid mix of the following knowledge, ability, skills and experience:
- B. A. degree in Child Development, Mental Health, Special Education or related fields
- At least 2 years of experience working with preschool age children with a focus on children with special needs.
- Possesses California Child Development permit or 12 qualifying units in Early Childhood Education
- Demonstrated knowledge of parenting challenges, child development, and children and families with special needs, including behavioral and emotional issues
- Experience with coaching staff and facilitating workshops/trainings preferred
- Commitment to working with families from marginalized communities

Position Overview
The Legal Secretary will provide high-level administrative and legal support to attorneys and senior partners. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple priorities while supporting busy legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level administrative and legal support to attorneys and senior partners
- Manage communications, prioritize tasks, and assist with daily workflow coordination
- Prepare new matter reports, conduct conflict checks, open files, and generate engagement letters
- Assist with client billing, including reviewing and editing proformas, preparing billing correspondence, and coordinating with accounting
- Prepare legal filings, government documentation, and closing materials as needed
- Edit, proofread, and finalize legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm standards
- Enter attorney time and assist with timekeeping management
- Coordinate meetings, conference rooms, catering, and scheduling for attorneys
- Maintain calendars and track deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Organize and maintain client records in both physical files and document management systems
- Maintain contact lists, client databases, and other electronic records
- Coordinate travel arrangements for attorneys
- Process expense reimbursements and vendor invoices
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience using document management systems
- Strong ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced legal environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with attorneys and support staff
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- Excellent proofreading, grammar, spelling, and formatting skills
- Ability to type at least 60 WPM with strong accuracy
- Flexibility to work additional hours during busy periods when needed
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College coursework or degree preferred
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of legal secretarial or legal administrative experience in a law firm environment
- At least 2 years supporting billing attorneys

The Retirement Plan Advisor assists individuals in achieving a successful retirement and planning their financial future through group and individual presentations to new and existing defined contribution 401(k)/(a), 403(b), and/or Government 457 plan participants across all plan sizes.
This role uses data-driven, analytical thinking to lead impactful conversations with participants, meets client service level agreements and achieves annual targets as assigned.
This position will also assist the Relationship Management team in effectively establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within the territory assigned.
