In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home. Summary:
The Travel Cath Lab RN provides specialized care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional treatments. The RN prepares patients for procedures, assists during interventions, and monitors immediate post-procedure recovery. Working closely with cardiologists and cath lab teams, this role requires advanced cardiac care skills, cardiac catheterization skills, strong communication, and the ability to adapt quickly while maintaining strict safety and regulatory standards.
Essential Work Functions:
- Conduct assessment of patients prior to procedures, including reviewing medical history and performing physical exams
- Assist in positioning patients correctly for the procedure and ensure EKG electrodes and cardiac leads are properly placed
- Assist physicians during procedures, including the placement of catheters, wires, balloons, stents, structural heart devices, and other cardiac interventions
- Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment, recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic waveforms
- Assist in arterial and/or venous sheath removal using closure devices, manual pressure, or mechanical compression, and transport patients to the appropriate recovery area
- Monitor vital signs, ECG, and hemodynamic parameters during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedure
- Support post-procedure care, including monitoring patient recovery and ensuring a smooth transition to the next phase of care
- Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment, ensuring everything is functioning properly and fully stocked for procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members, patients, families, and physicians to provide seamless care
- Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice

Job Title : Nuclear Engineer (Naval Reactors Engineer) Category / Component : Officer • Active Overview Design, regulate, and oversee the Navy's nuclear propulsion program, including reactor design, fleet operations, and eventual defueling and decommissioning of nuclear powered ships and submarines from Naval Reactors Headquarters and associated Department of Energy laboratories and shipyards.

The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager is a technical expert and strategic leader responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously evolving a comprehensive EHS management system tailored to a high-risk, highly regulated industrial manufacturing environment. This role demands deep technical expertise in environmental compliance, occupational safety engineering, industrial hygiene, and risk management, along with a firm grasp of sustainability practices and global product stewardship requirements. The ideal candidate must be capable of navigating complex regulatory frameworks, leading audits and inspections from regulatory agencies, and deploying site-wide cultural transformation initiatives in safety, compliance, and environmental sustainability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Environmental Management:
- Lead complex environmental compliance initiatives involving federal, state, and local regulations.
- Oversee site-specific environmental programs related to stormwater runoff, hazardous materials storage, and waste handling, ensuring full compliance with TCEQ and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requirements.
- Develop and maintain procedures to ensure accurate and timely TRI submissions, including detailed chemical usage tracking, discharge quantification (e.g., to sewer, water, or land), and internal validation.

- Direct investigations of incidents involving chemical exposure, machine guarding failures, confined space entries, lockout/tagout issues, etc., and lead multi-disciplinary root cause mapping teams.
- Lead Employee Engagement-Based Safety (EEBS) initiatives and safety culture transformation programs to improve frontline engagement.
- Lead site-wide rollouts of annual compliance training, safety orientation, and certification programs.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and proactively assess implications across local, state, federal, and international (as applicable) EHS laws.
- Lead multi-agency regulatory interactions, including OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, Department of Transportation (DOT), and other relevant bodies.
- Ensure full site and product compliance with global chemical and material regulations.
- Lead data collection and submission for customer-driven product compliance requests, environmental due diligence inquiries, and third-party sustainability verification programs.
- Maintain all EHS-related documentation, including complex reporting requirements (e.g., TRI, Tier II, Form R, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, sustainability KPIs).
Continuous Improvement:
- Define and monitor environmental, health and safety Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify systemic weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
- Utilize data analytics tools to evaluate trends, predict risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Champion Lean/Six Sigma methodologies in EHS process improvement projects (e.g., reduction of incident cycle time, root cause recurrence elimination).
- Support corporate ESG and sustainability reporting through detailed performance tracking and lifecycle impact assessments.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific/technical field required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in EHS management within a complex manufacturing or industrial environment; experience in heavy industry or chemical processing strongly preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of substance restriction and product compliance programs (e.g., REACH, RoHS, PFAS, TSCA).
- Demonstrated experience managing EHS functions in geographically isolated or labor-constrained environments.
