What You Will Do In Your Role:

• You will deliver high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the Cardiac Cath Lab Department during the designated shift.

What qualifications you will need:

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required. BSN is highly preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.
• ACLS and PALS are required.
• 2 years of Critical Care Nursing experience required in Critical Care, ICU, ER, Acute Inpatient setting. Charge experience is highly preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a highly-skilled and compassionate Cath Lab registered nurse you will provide assistance with all invasive cardiac, vascular and interventional procedures. You will demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. In this role:

You will be responsible for all testing and therapeutics that take place in the cath lab. These procedures include but are not limited to: cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker, tilt-table, angioplasty, stent, dialysis catheter, nephrostomy and ureteral tube, IVC filter, IABP, pericardiocentesis, and stress testing procedures.

• You will facilitate effective communication among departmental staff to ensure interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to patient care.
• You will appropriate SBAR process for hand-off communication.
• You will assist the patient through all aspects of the procedure, including transport, site preparation, sterile procedure, patient monitoring, and hemostasis following removal of catheter or sheath, and return to room.
• You will manage emergent cases.
• You will maintain accurate, timely and compliant patient records and complete all paperwork associated with these procedures.
• You will prepare tests for physician interpretation.

• Current State of Idaho RN license in good standing
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred 
• 1+ years of Cath Lab experience preferred
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS) within six months of hire
• Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support or obtain within 90 days of date of hire

Continuously evaluates patient condition and has the ability to work and make decisions independently and able to provide education appropriately based off patient circumstances, condition, cultural and spiritual needs.

Ability with training to monitor, identify and appropriately handle pacing protocols with assistance from EP physician on Abbott Workmate.

With training the EP RN will be able to remove and manage site from arterial and venous sheaths

The EP Lab nurse will work closely in a sterile environment with the interdisciplinary team to perform the following procedures:

Permanent Pacemaker Implantation, BivICD, BiV pacemakers and Micra pacemaker

Ablations- Atrial fibrillation/Flutter and Cryo-Ablations

SVT, Ventricular tachycardia

Loop Recorder Watchmen Implantation

POSITION SUMMARY: The Cath Lab Holding nurse works under the supervision of the Cath Lab Manager, CV Services Director, and designees. The Cath Lab Holding RN will work in the Cath Lab Holding area, primarily responsible for pre- and post- procedure care of patients.

SPECIFIC ELEMENTS & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Cardiac Catheterization Lab

Pre- and post- procedure care for a variety of patients, including but not limited to: cardiac catheterization (diagnostic and interventional), peripheral angiograms (diagnostic and interventional), dialysis access procedures and line placements, TEEs, cardioversions, loop recorder implantations, electrophysiology studies and procedures, pacemaker and ICD placements.

Sheath removal

Coordinating with local offices and hospitals to schedule procedures and obtain appropriate patient information

Prepare charts for the following day

Call patients the day before scheduled procedures to provide instructions

Coordinate internally with hospital staff and departments including hospital units, anesthesia, and Diagnostics to optimize patient care and workflow (including bed placement and scheduling of procedures

Ordering and inventory maintenance of necessary office supplies and paperwork

Weekend call coverage for inpatient TEEs

Administer stress tests

Place Holter monitors, Zio patches, and other monitors and patches, as well as generate reports

Input charges timely and accurately

Coordinate internally with hospital staff and departments including hospital units and physicians to expedite effective inpatient and outpatient flow

We are seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Catheterization Lab. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a procedural environment. What you will do in this role:

• You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of Cardiac Cath patients pre, intra and post procedure.
• You will assist physicians in operative procedures.
• You will maintain and review patients' records including posting tests and examination results.
• You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills

Job Overview - Cath Lab Rad Tech - NO CALL NO WEEKENDS

Seeking a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) to join a brand-new Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Central Florida. This role is ideal for a technologist who thrives in an efficient outpatient environment and values a collaborative, healthy team culture while supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

This state-of-the-art ASC features a dedicated Cath Lab within a premier medical center and is designed to deliver same-day, low-risk cardiac procedures in a highly efficient, physician-led setting. The lab is equipped with GE MAC technology and supports diagnostic catheterizations, PCI, and select cardiac device procedures.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate fluoroscopy equipment during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Support physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and EP cases
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and optimal image acquisition
• Maintain strict radiation safety standards for patients and staff
• Anticipate physician needs using knowledge of coronary and vascular anatomy
• Assist with catheterization tools including sheaths, catheters, balloons, and stents
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, RNs, and ASC leadership to maintain efficient procedural flow
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to ASC safety and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT (R) certification
• Cath Lab experience OR Heavy cardiology experience and fluoroscopy experience
• Experience operating fluoroscopy equipment/C-Arm
• Experience with GE MAC or similar Cath Lab systems preferred

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4x10s, rotating day off. NO Call NO weekends
