Summary

The Material Logistics Planning Manager oversees the development and execution of strategies that ensure efficient organization of materials, logistics, and supply flow. This role aligns master schedules and production calendars to maintain seamless coordination across operations. This role also monitors inventory levels, supply orders, and resource availability to support uninterrupted production. Additionally, the position serves as a key liaison between internal teams and external vendors, ensuring strong communication and aligned workflows.

Essential Functions:

Process Development:

• Establish foundational systems: Design and implement comprehensive materials management processes, including receiving, inventory control, storage, and distribution procedures
• Create organizational structure: Build materials team roles, responsibilities, and accountability frameworks from the ground up
• Implement tracking and control systems: Develop material flow tracking, inventory accuracy protocols, and performance measurement systems

Ongoing Responsibilities:

• Oversee all materials management activities for the Fort Worth assembly facility, including receiving, inventory control, kitting, and shipping operations
• Develop and implement plans for organizing logistics and supplies in a professional manner
• Responsible for creating and overseeing master schedules and calendars, and monitoring inventory lists and supply orders
• Develop and implement materials flow processes that support our assembly line transformation and handle 30+ concurrent large module builds
• Manage materials counts and inventory levels in JD Edwards MRP system
• Coordinate schedules, deliveries, and work tasks involving other teams or staff members, while acting as a liaison among internal units and external vendors
• Responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of production, purchasing, warehousing, distribution, and financial forecasting services; primary objective is to reduce costs, enhance accuracy, improve customer service, and ensure safety
• Establish and monitor KPIs for materials accuracy, on-time delivery, and cost control
• Lead cycle counting, inventory accuracy initiatives, and root cause analysis of materials discrepancies
• Develop standard operating procedures for materials handling, storage, and movement within the 1,000,000 sq. ft. facility
• Support ISO 9001 and customer audit requirements for materials traceability and control

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or related field, or experience in lieu of

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Manages material shortages to ensure Clear to Builds in collaboration with the Purchasing and SLM Team.
• Acts as a liaison between customer project management and internal departments on the introduction of new product requirements.
• Ensures timely and accurate demand management (If the demand is managed by the Planning Team at your Site).
• Effectively Manage Excess, Surplus and Obsolete inventory.
• Identify the impact of excess and obsolescence and drive necessary actions to mitigate it.

• Collaborates with different stakeholders to achieve Inventory Entitlement targets and drive results.

• Maintains continuous Material Supply to achieve the targeted inventory levels and turns.

• Monitoring and Drive weekly Purchasing KPI performance trend and execution. Buyer due diligence & escalation with materials are available to meet manufacturing build requirements. Addresses and resolves possible material shortages.
• Acts as a liaison with internal/external customers to ensure logistics commitments are met.
• Maintains high level of on-time delivery, including operational tracking of critical shipments.

• Analyze market conditions, cost drivers, and supply risks to support informed sourcing decisions
• Develop cost models, total cost of ownership analyses, and business cases to drive value creation
• Partner cross-functionally to forecast demand and support production and capital project requirements
• Manage supplier performance through scorecards, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Identify and mitigate supply risks through contingency planning, dual sourcing, and inventory strategies
• Maintain accurate pricing, supplier, and contract data within procurement and ERP systems
• Prepare and present sourcing strategies, performance metrics, and risk assessments to leadership

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement within manufacturing, chemicals, mining, or heavy industrial environments
• Experience managing direct material or commodity categories
• Strong analytical skills, including spend analysis, cost modeling, and supplier evaluation
• Proven negotiation skills and experience managing complex supplier relationships
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders in fast-paced operational settings

Aurum Construction is looking for a General Superintendent with strong vertical structural concrete experience to help lead major projects in the Fort Worth market.

This role will oversee large-scale structural concrete operations including mid-rise and high-rise buildings, working closely with project management and field leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality level.

What You’ll Do

• Provide overall field leadership for structural concrete operations across multiple projects

• Manage and mentor project superintendents, foremen, and field teams

• Oversee daily jobsite operations, safety, quality, and production performance

• Coordinate closely with project management teams on schedules, logistics, and manpower planning

• Ensure projects stay on track for schedule, cost, and quality targets

• Lead preconstruction planning for concrete scopes, including sequencing and logistics

• Work closely with developers, general contractors, and project stakeholders

• Drive safety culture and jobsite standards across all projects

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of construction field leadership experience

• Strong background in vertical structural concrete construction

• Experience delivering mid-rise or high-rise buildings

• Proven ability to manage multiple superintendents and large field teams

• Experience with complex concrete systems such as podium structures, parking garages, or high-rise cores

• Strong scheduling, planning, and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to lead projects in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
