JOB SUMMARY:

Structural and Steel Products is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing Utility Structures Engineering team. This role is responsible for the structural design and engineering of steel pole transmission structures up to 500kV, including monopoles, H-frames, and three-pole structures.

This is an exciting opportunity to help build and shape an expanding in-house engineering department, working directly with executive leadership while contributing to high-impact infrastructure projects for major utility customers. We are looking for a high-performing engineer who enjoys solving complex structural challenges, mentoring junior engineers, and improving engineering processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design utility steel pole transmission structures up to 500kV including monopoles, H-frames, and 3-pole structures.
• Develop engineering proposals, structural calculations, and design packages.
• Review work completed by junior engineers.
• Manage engineering work for key customers.
• Collaborate with sales, drafting, manufacturing, and operations teams.
• Contribute to improvements in engineering standards, manuals, and design processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering or mechanical engineering
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in structural design of utility structures
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Job Title: Engineering - Airframe Stress Analysis Engineer

Onsite Opportunity

Position Responsibilities:

∙ Support airframe structural designs based on trade studies, research, and analysis.

∙ Responsible for performing detailed analysis of advanced composite and metallic structure using classical hand calculations and FE tools to develop high performance airframe structures.

∙ Perform static analysis using industry standard calculations methods (i.e. Bruhn, Roark Flabel, and O.E.M. structures manuals).

∙ Coordinate with other engineering, manufacturing, or specialty personnel to resolve problems.

∙ Apply scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcome and consequence of design, in terms of stress, strength, life, stiffness, and weight, providing alternatives as needed.

∙ Oversee and monitor product acceptance procedures and parameters to achieve product reliability and safety standards (e.g. failure analysis).

∙ Contribute to the completion milestones associated with specific projects (e.g. create functional diagrams and system layouts; review detailed drawings and schematics; define data structure, interfaces and analyze material requirements).

∙ Execute Tasks to Cost and Schedule Requirements.

∙ Support supplier / teammate design activity.

∙ Support test activity, including test plan development, execution, and reports.

∙ Create and present design plans and analysis to leadership with supporting recommendation(s).

∙ Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.

Education Requirements:

∙ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required. Major in Aerospace or Mechanical with focus on structural analysis is preferred. Other degrees may be considered.

Position Requirements:

∙ Multiple levels of experience will be considered with at least 5 years experience in structural analysis. Aerospace industry is preferred but other relevant experience may be considered.

∙ Experience in helicopter or tiltrotor structural design is preferred, including composites.

∙ Must have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to coordinate design and analysis activities, prioritize tasks, and report status to design leads.

∙ Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams to complete design tasks.

∙ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.

∙ Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis using MSC.NASTRAN and Altair Hypermesh

∙ Must have the ability to work effectively within a team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform GPS-based field surveys to capture existing site and utility information
• Collect, verify, and document field data for use in design and construction activities
• Prepare and update drawings using AutoCAD based on field observations and survey results
• Conduct constructability reviews of preliminary layouts and design exhibits
• Document existing site conditions through notes, sketches, and photographs
• Perform electronic utility locates and assist with measuring utility depths as required
• Understand and apply knowledge of rights-of-way, easements, parcels, and private property constraints
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project managers to resolve field-related issues
• Represent the company during site visits, coordination meetings, and preconstruction activities
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, business owners, and stakeholders, including de-escalation when needed
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including proper use of PPE and field protocols
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support project delivery

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in field engineering, surveying, utility coordination, or technical drafting
• Experience performing GPS survey work and supporting design teams with field data
• Must be based in Texas and available to work locally during normal business hours
• Valid State Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy

Job Title: SolidWorks Drafter

Location: Fort Worth, Texas

Salary: $55,000 - $75,000

Position Summary:

We’re looking for a seasoned SolidWorks Drafter with deep experience in steel and metal structural design. In this onsite daily role, you’ll take the lead in reviewing and checking detailed fabrication and structural drawings to ensure they meet industry standards and reflect accurate design intent. You’ll also contribute to drafting and modeling tasks involving complex steel and metal structures like monopoles, utility components, platforms, and custom fabrications.

This role is ideal for someone who has spent over two decades in detailing and checking, and who brings both the technical knowledge and practical insight needed to support high-quality, shop-ready structural drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and check engineering drawings for steel and metal structures for accuracy, completeness, and conformance with internal and industry standards. Poles and utility structures desired.
• Verify weld symbols, material specifications, tolerances, dimensions, and fabrication details for constructability and compliance.
• Work directly with engineers and drafters to resolve drawing discrepancies and ensure design intent is properly captured.
• Perform 2D drafting and 3D modeling in Solidworks, with an emphasis on fabrication-ready deliverables.
• Interpret redlines, sketches, and markups to ensure revisions are accurately incorporated.
• Maintain drawing control, document revisions, and enforce version management standards.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of internal drafting/checking processes, templates, and standards.

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years of detailing and checking experience with a strong focus on steel and metal structures. Poles, telecommunications, power, and utility structures desired.
• Associate degree or technical diploma in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Solidworks and drawing management systems.
• Strong working knowledge of structural steel design, metal fabrication methods, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Familiarity with relevant structural standards (e.g., AISC, AWS) and shop detailing practices.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Summary

The Material Logistics Planning Manager oversees the development and execution of strategies that ensure efficient organization of materials, logistics, and supply flow. This role aligns master schedules and production calendars to maintain seamless coordination across operations. This role also monitors inventory levels, supply orders, and resource availability to support uninterrupted production. Additionally, the position serves as a key liaison between internal teams and external vendors, ensuring strong communication and aligned workflows.

Essential Functions:

Process Development:

• Establish foundational systems: Design and implement comprehensive materials management processes, including receiving, inventory control, storage, and distribution procedures
• Create organizational structure: Build materials team roles, responsibilities, and accountability frameworks from the ground up
• Implement tracking and control systems: Develop material flow tracking, inventory accuracy protocols, and performance measurement systems

Ongoing Responsibilities:

• Oversee all materials management activities for the Fort Worth assembly facility, including receiving, inventory control, kitting, and shipping operations
• Develop and implement plans for organizing logistics and supplies in a professional manner
• Responsible for creating and overseeing master schedules and calendars, and monitoring inventory lists and supply orders
• Develop and implement materials flow processes that support our assembly line transformation and handle 30+ concurrent large module builds
• Manage materials counts and inventory levels in JD Edwards MRP system
• Coordinate schedules, deliveries, and work tasks involving other teams or staff members, while acting as a liaison among internal units and external vendors
