The staff counsel office of Plymouth Rock Management Company of New Jersey located in Parsippany, Woodbridge, or Mt Laurel NJ seeks a full-time attorney with an insurance defense background to handle New Jersey No Fault PIP litigation.

The senior attorney would be responsible for handling New Jersey PIP cases filed in Forthright. The position would require the Attorney to conduct Examinations Under Oath and attend arbitrations. The candidate must be organized, a team player, and able to handle a high volume of files and virtual appearances.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle all aspects of a high volume pending of 250 or more cases.
• Conduct Examinations Under Oath.
• Attend arbitrations.
• Prepare PIP arbitration submissions and upload same to Forthright.
• Input and maintain information into case management system and ensure data integrity.
• Provides legal research, legal advice and direction to Claims.
• Handle special projects as the need arises.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Fully licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
• New York Bar admission is a plus but not required.
• Possesses at five years’ relevant PIP experience.
• Possesses an ability to analyze arbitration assignments referred from Claims and prepare action plans that address legal issues and defenses.
• Possesses excellent knowledge of NJ No Fault Arbitration rules.
• Possesses an aptitude to work independently in making decisions, in file handling and communicating those decisions to the proper parties.
• Must be able to work in a paperless environment.
• Possesses strong computer skills with working knowledge of MS Word and Outlook.

SALARY RANGE

The pay range for this position is $115,000 to $162,000 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

Margolis Edelstein, a premier insurance defense firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our Berkeley Heights, NJ team. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with great organizational skills, effective case management, ability to multitask, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and help wherever needed.

Duties may include assisting with filing various court documents, drafting templates and calendaring. The ideal candidate will have litigation experience, be familiar with e-filing in state/federal courts, calendaring/docketing, and various legal administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, examine, and organize legal documents for attorney review and case preparation
• Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents
• Preparation and submission of pleadings via electronic file systems in both state and federal courts
• Communicate with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings, interviews, and depositions
• Manage, organize, and maintain documents in electronic filing systems
• Provide general administrative assistance

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• 2-5 years of experience as an administrative assistant (preferably in a law firm or in a corporate legal department), legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

• This position reports to the Senior Marketing Manager of client Global Body Innovation & Communications and is based at our Summit office (hybrid working policy).
• The Associate Brand Manager, client Global Body Innovation & Communications, will be responsible for helping shape and execute strong, purpose-led innovation pipeline & communication, anticipating trends and delivering 360 content toolkits to drive consistent brand & portfolio execution globally.
• The ABM will be instrumental in helping the team identify opportunities to leapfrog competition with disruptive new products claims, communication assets & product innovations, bringing them to life through close partnerships with key cross-functional & commercial teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead insights to action initiatives through regular monitoring & analysis of global industry trends, category & competitor landscapes and business performance (sales, trends, market share, P&L) to derive actionable business recommendations and enhance strategy & innovation efforts
• Understand and advocate for consumer needs and preferences to support everyday decisions and business actions
• Partner with Market Insights & Research to mine consumer insights and category trends relevant to innovation development
• Partner with technical cross-functional partners to deliver competitive claims, packaging designs, and brand presence at shelf to drive business continuity & and new innovations
• Partner with R&D, Supply Chain and technical cross-functional partners to lead the end to end execution of key global body innovations on-time, and with excellence
• Work with key global agencies to support the creation of 360 communication toolkits to support body business continuity & innovation launches, including digital, social, e-commerce and influencer strategy and assets
• Collaborate with key global cluster and market stakeholders to ensure all innovation initiatives are globally relevant and designed to be consistently executed across all regions
• Support budget tracking & management
• Proactively look for opportunities to expand brand passion and improve consumer experiences with the brand to deliver brand growth goals.

Desired Qualifications

• Innovation experience in Beauty or Skin Care is strongly preferred
• Experience working with R&D, Market Research, Communications Agencies, Finance, Sales and Project Management is required. Experience working with Legal, Regulatory, and global partners is preferred.
• Proven ability to understand a consumer target and position a brand/project/innovation
• Works well independently while possessing strong leadership & communication skills and a demonstrated history of building collaborative, lasting relationships that deliver business results
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities successfully
• Ability to work closely with cross functional and other internal teams
