Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Practice Operations Manager to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee clinic operations ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Champion high levels of satisfaction among patients and referring providers by proactively addressing concerns, soliciting feedback, and driving continuous improvement.
• Support clinical and non-clinical staff to meet the needs of patients and the business, Ensure core operational processes and compliance standards are consistently followed; evaluate workflows and recommend improvements as appropriate.

• Ability to travel as needed within territory (no overnight travel required).

Preferred Qualifications

Title: Claims Specialist

Salary Range: $70,000 – $85,000

Bonus Potential: 7.5%

Location: Onsite in Columbia, MD – potential for hybrid after training and some travel could be required

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Claims Specialist to manage and resolve customer claims with precision and empathy. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring claims are logged, tracked, and resolved efficiently while collaborating across Manufacturing, Finance, and Customer Service teams.

The ideal candidate will use strong analytical, project management, and communication skills to drive root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and enhance the overall customer experience.

What You’ll Do

• Log, track, and manage customer claims in Salesforce from initiation to resolution.
• Communicate empathetically with customers, providing timely updates throughout the claims process.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Finance, and other internal teams to investigate claims and implement resolutions.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and follow up on corrective actions to ensure accountability.
• Identify trends in claims, perform root cause analysis, and recommend process improvements.
• Provide regular reports on claim volume, resolution times, root causes, and customer impact.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and manage multiple priorities.
• Preferred: Experience in manufacturing or B2B environments, familiarity with root cause analysis frameworks (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone), exposure to corrective action planning, and project management certification (CAPM or PMP).

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As a Home Health LPN, you will:

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients, working onsite in their homes, under the direction of an RN.
• Implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care, including documentation of patient visit, interventions, and outcomes.
• Maintain contact with patients, physicians, clinical manager(s), and other members of the healthcare team promptly regarding patient or family needs and status changes. Participate in care coordination activities and discharge planning.

Required Qualifications:

• Current nursing license in the practicing state

• Valid drivers license, auto insurance and reliable transportation

• Current CPR certification

• Two years experience as an LPN/LVN in a clinical setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Nursing experience in a Home Health or Hospice setting

Pay Range
•    $37.00 - $52.00 pay per visit/unit
•    $58,300 - $80,300 per year base pay

TB Statement:

This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Driving Statement:

This role is part of Humana's driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and are expected to maintain personal vehicle liability insurance. Individual must carry vehicle insurance in accordance with their residing state minimum required limits, or $25,000 bodily injury per person/$25,000 bodily injury per event /$10,000 for property damage or whichever is higher.
