Clinical skills required for this position would include electrodiagnostic techniques and neuromuscular ultrasound evaluation. Fellowship training in neuromuscular medicine is desirable but not required. Clinical and academic track appointments are available, and the positions are well supported by superb staff and facilities.
Appointment at the Associate Professor level generally requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and demonstrated scholarly productivity in research, teaching, and/or administrative leadership and service.
Appointment at the full Professor level generally requires a minimum of 10 years of experience and ability to demonstrate the attainment of superior stature and national/international reputation in their field of knowledge.
Evidence of scholarly productivity is required for appointment in the tenure stream, including teaching and academic service, publications in relevant peer-reviewed journals, and a history of successful funding acquisition. The primary requirement for conferral of tenure is an outstanding record of sustained independent scholarship across the various activities listed above.
