Role Description

We are seeking a full-time a skilled Back End Developer to join our team on-site in Danvers, MA. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining back-end architecture to support platform functionality. The Building Engineer at Rafi Properties is responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems. This role ensures that all critical infrastructure—including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and specialized manufacturing systems—operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, experience with manufacturing, R&D, and life sciences buildings, and the ability to support mission-critical operations with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain base building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems (BAS).
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment such as air handling units, chillers, boilers, pumps, and compressors.
• Respond to alarms, system failures, and emergency situations in a timely manner.
