ResponsibilitiesGrowth Strategy & Leadership
- Architect, shape and lead the company's strategic growth strategy in alignment with its long-term vision, capabilities, and emerging customer needs.
- Translate strategic goals into executable business plans, capture priorities, and investment areas.
- Identify and assess adjacent market segments and emerging customer needs to inform growth priorities.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on growth investments and performance, pipeline health and bid strategies, and competitive positioning.

- Analyze schedule progress, critical paths, float consumption, and forecasted completion; identify at-risk activities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Conduct site visits to active heavy civil construction projects to verify progress, document conditions, and perform or review schedule updates.
- Perform “what-if” schedule scenarios to assess impacts to milestones and overall project delivery.
- Prepare clear, well-documented technical reports, narratives, charts, and graphics summarizing schedule analyses and findings.
- Provide quality review of schedule-related reports prepared by others.
- Attend and participate in client progress and scheduling meetings; confidently present schedule updates, analyses, and recommendations.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, designers, contractors, and internal teams to resolve schedule issues and support effective project delivery.
- Support the maintenance and updating of SMK’s company-wide project and program schedules.

Qualifications:

- Developing and updating Contract Time Determination schedules with narrative reports.
- Reviewing and analyzing baseline schedules and monthly progress update schedules developed by others.

- Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Overview/Responsibilities
As aProject Managerbased in our Boston, MA office, you will act as an Owner’s Representative to oversee all aspects of project management ranging from small renovations and fit-out assignments through ground up developments within a mix of corporate, life sciences, healthcare, higher education, hospitality and other institutional new construction and renovation projects. While specific roles and projects may vary, the PM will work on projects in various planning stages, including feasibility, design, construction, and occupancy all ranging in various complexities with wide ranging budget parameters. Compensation
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $145,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. In addition to base pay, you may be eligible to participate in our performance-based incentive compensation bonus plan.

Key Responsibilities
