This internship position is a great opportunity for a student majoring in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or other related fields to gain hands-on experience working with Wakefern's Engineering Division. In this position, the intern will assist the Engineering team in project management in our Retail Engineering Design Department.
Responsibilities:
Facilities Engineering / Design and Construction
- Assist Engineering in preparation of plans using AutoCAD
- Assist Engineering Personnel in surveys of existing sites and stores to verify existing conditions
- Assist in drafting of remodels or new sites, including parking lots and stores
- Coordinate scanning of existing paper drawings into electronic files
- Visit new sites to determine best layout for building, parking and truck docks as well as truck paths through the site.

Compensation and Benefits:
First year Facilities Engineering Interns will be paid at $17.00 per hour. Master Students and Returning Wakefern Supply Chain/Logistic Interns will be paid at $19.00 per hour. Position description
The Department of Nuclear Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley is generating an applicant pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach regular and Summer Session courses, should an opening arise. In addition to classroom/laboratory teaching and preparation, general duties may include (but are not limited to) managing and mentoring graders and/or graduate student instructors (teaching assistants), holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and maintaining a course website.
We are also seeking applicants for hourly Teacher Special Programs (TSP), should an opening arise. The TSP instructor's principal responsibility will be overseeing capstone projects in the Master of Engineering (MEng) program of the Nuclear Engineering Department. This will include the following tasks: Designing and proposing capstone projects. Helping match students into suitable projects. Meeting with each capstone project team on a regular basis to review results, manage interpersonal aspects, and maintain efficient progress. Provide critical, constructive feedback on students' written reports and oral presentations. Coordinating and participating in the MS Plan II exam of each student at the end of the capstone project period.

Also desirable are a strong track record in developing and implementing new and innovative methods of delivering education and hands-on learning, project-based learning, and experience working with students from a range of disciplines. Job Description:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Systems Engineering Intern to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Dubuque, IA. In this role, you will support engineering staff in improving industrial systems, processes, workflows, and equipment performance. This internship provides hands-on experience with real-world industrial engineering applications and offers the opportunity to apply academic knowledge to optimize efficiency, productivity, and system reliability in a professional environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist engineers with the analysis, design, and optimization of industrial systems, including production processes, material flow, and equipment layouts.
- Perform data collection, time studies, workflow analysis, and documentation to support ongoing systems improvement projects.
- Create, update, and review process maps, workflow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical reports.
- Conduct research on industrial equipment, automation technologies, lean methodologies, and process improvement techniques.

What's the role? We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Models team. In this role, you will manage a team of motivated ICs to build the next generation of Etsy's models platform, which in turn will enable your customer teams to improve the quality of search, ads, recommendations, and other ML applications for nearly 100M buyers and over 5M sellers. What's this team like at Etsy? The Machine Learning Enablement Initiative builds and maintains a complete ecosystem of ML systems including our feature & embeddings store, model training, serving, orchestration and testing infrastructure. The Models team is responsible for the model catalog, APIs, and serving infrastructure that runs our online models at high scale (millions of inferences per second). It is a small team historically focused on operations, but transitioning to play a more direct role in the application layer. The team is presently leading Etsy's migration from Tensorflow to Pytorch, building upon an innovative architecture designed in-house and based on KServe, NVIDIA Triton, Apache Arrow, and Ray. We are using this opportunity to fill in historical gaps in automation, integration, and standardization across the ML platform. We aspire to unify modeling approaches across all major ML development teams at Etsy. What does the day-to-day look like? Meet with customers to understand their latest use cases. Work with your team and partners to translate those use cases into concrete requirements. Offer an informed point of view on engineering, system design, and machine learning considerations. Keep track of ongoing issues (stability, performance, cost) with models on the platform, and identify short-term fixes and long-term platform improvements. Maintain a product roadmap, lead agile processes and plan workstreams for a team of 4 ICs. Occasionally lead multi-functional \"tiger teams\" for dedicated projects. Coach your ICs and support their career development trajectories.
