Job Summary:

Seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality operations at a manufacturing facility in Holland, Michigan. This role is responsible for advanced quality planning, supplier quality assurance, testing laboratories, customer complaints, product submissions, and implementing lean techniques. The Quality Manager will oversee the department, ensure compliance with quality standards, and work closely with operations to improve product quality and process capability.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises personnel who have continuous interactions with customers and product design
• Takes a leadership role in ISO 9001/2000 and ISO 17025 compliance
• Directs, implements, and maintains operational-level strategies and objectives and monitors performance against plan
• Manages, monitors, and controls material, labor, and overhead costs in respective areas
• Develops, reviews, and maintains budgets and departmental expenses
• Maintains appropriate staffing levels necessary to meet business goals and objectives
• As a member of the Operations Team, actively leads and influences efforts to improve product quality and process capability
• Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Science, or Quality Control
• 10+ years of diverse professional and managerial experience in a manufacturing environment, including automotive experience
• Experience with budgets, strategic decision-making, and leading teams
• Experience leading teams and managing quality systems and departmental budgets
• Hands-on experience with PPAP, APQP, and Control Plans
• Demonstrated employee relationship and management skills to develop, lead, support, and motivate a cohesive, world-class quality assurance team
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal and external contacts at all levels
• Able to represent the company in a professional manner with customers and suppliers

Job Summary

Leads all maintenance operations within a complex manufacturing facility to ensure equipment reliability, facility upkeep, and uninterrupted production. Responsible for maintenance strategy, preventive maintenance, staff leadership, safety compliance, and continuous improvement across equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and repair of all production equipment to support production schedules
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve reliability

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the design, documentation, and improvement of products and manufacturing processes. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to help translate concepts into manufacturable designs while ensuring products are built efficiently and to high quality standards. This role offers the opportunity to develop CAD drawings, create technical documentation, assist with manufacturing tooling and fixtures, and collaborate with the production team to solve real-world engineering challenges on the factory floor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and update 2D and 3D CAD drawings.
• Develop technical documentation such as work instructions, quality plans, and engineering documentation for internal and external use.
• Assist in building manufacturing and welding fixtures according to engineering drawings.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking skilled Make-Ready Designers (primary focus) and Power Distribution Designers to support engineering programs for major electric and telecom utilities. Ideal candidates bring demonstrated experience in overhead utility pole design, NESC application, clearance assessment, pole loading analysis, and construction package development. Useful design platforms include DDS, Katapult, O-Calc, GIS, MicroStation, AutoCAD, or client-specific drafting systems.

In this role, you will review field/walkout data, evaluate existing attachment conditions, model pole loading, determine make-ready requirements, and prepare accurate construction-ready deliverables. Applicants without utility pole design or distribution engineering experience will not be considered.
