What You'll Do

Core Engineering Work

• Design, build, and deploy scalable, secure, and compliant systems across front-end, back-end, and data layers

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building and maintaining data-intensive platforms

The Role

As Senior Project Engineer, you will work alongside senior project managers serving as owner's representative on behalf of a confidential defense tech client. You will be a critical part of the project delivery team, supporting the day-to-day execution of complex construction projects from the owner's side. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role with real exposure to executive-level clients and mission-critical work.

What You'll Own

• Support senior PMs in managing proposals, drafting meeting minutes, contract creation, and client reporting documents
• Assist in the creation and ongoing updates of project budgets and schedules
• Manage document control, change order processing, monthly invoicing, TI allowance reimbursement, and project closeout in coordination with project managers

About the Role

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in Cesium chloride (CsCl) density gradient ultracentrifugation, ion-exchange chromatography, affinity purification, and tangential flow filtration (TFF), with a strong understanding of purification principles and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Execute purification processes including CsCl density gradient ultracentrifugation, affinity chromatography (e.g., AVB, CaptureSelect), ion-exchange chromatography (AEX, CEX), and other polishing steps.
• Operate AKTA systems (Avant, Pure, or Pilot) for small- to large-scale purification runs.
• Perform TFF operations for buffer exchange and concentration of intermediate or final products.
• Support experimental design, data collection, and documentation following established procedures and GMP/GLP best practices.

Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

COMPENSATION

Charter is a growing Boston based Civil/Environmental Remediation Contractor with job sites throughout New England. Types of projects include but are not limited to environmental remediation, demolition, excavation, dredging, utility work, landfill cap and closures. Candidates must have 5 plus years of experience as a Superintendent. Some of the major job duties include:

• Plan and supervise all field related activities, including determining method of construction sequencing activities
• Apply knowledge of applicable plans, specifications and project work scope
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the construction operation, including documentation of activities on a daily basis
