Los Angeles-based Part 91 Flight Department seeking a qualified G550 / G650 Captain experience appreciated but not required.

Reports To: Director of Aviation | Lead Pilot

Primary Function:

The International Captain functions as the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of the aircraft on both Domestic and International missions. The Captain has direct responsibility for the safe operation of all aircraft assigned to him/her. The Captain is responsible for compliance with applicable company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and local, federal, and State regulations. S/he has responsible for the safety and comfort of all passengers and crew, as well as the timely operation of the flight.

Essential Roles, Responsibilities, & Accountabilities:

• The International Captain functions as the PIC of his/her assigned aircraft. The International Captain reports directly to the Director of Aviation | Lead Pilot. S/he is responsible for supervising his/her crew and commanding his/her assigned aircraft. When acting as PIC, the International Captain has final authority and responsibility for ensuring the safe conduct of the flight.

• The International Captain determines that all flight and ground operations comply with federal, local, and State regulations.

• The International Captain analyzes weather conditions and airspace information with the Co-Pilot and Relief Pilot (if assigned), making decisions regarding potential risks, risk mitigation, potential delays, rerouting, and/or flight cancellations. The International Captain coordinates with Scheduling to arrange alternate airport logistics (ground transportation, accommodations, etc.) for executive passengers if the flight schedule is altered during a trip.

• The International Captain is fully qualified to operate the flights to which s/he is assigned. S/he holds an appropriate and current airman’s certificate and specific training authorizing him/her to serve as PIC. The Waterproofing Consultant will act as project manager for projects with various scopes and sizes. The work will include new design and the evaluation, investigation, and design of repairs for existing buildings. They will manage multiple projects requiring supervision of our Waterproofing Division Principal/Director. Essential duties include climbing ladders and scaffolds, the ability to work at great heights, and the ability to travel by car to multiple job sites. 

Day to Day Tasks:

• Assisting our Waterproofing Division Principal/Director and senior staff in design, site investigations, and documenta-tion of existing conditions. 
• Investigation and remediation of building envelope malfunctions. 
• Design and construction assistance to contractors and design consultation to architects. 
• Field investigation and water leakage testing of roofing and waterproofing systems, windows, curtain walls, and other building components. 
• Design of remedial repairs to existing building systems, including walls, roofs, window and curtain wall systems, and plaza waterproofing systems. 
• Peer reviews of plans and specifications. 
• Litigation support for projects involving all the issues discussed above.

About the Role 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lighting Quotations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will prepare accurate and competitive quotations for lighting and controls projects, collaborating with vendors, customers, and sales teams. This position is ideal for someone with experience in lighting estimation who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving with both technical detail and customer service in mind. 

Responsibilities 

• Review bid requests, fixture schedules, and electrical drawings to prepare detailed bills of materials. 
• Assemble and deliver timely, accurate quotations, including quick-turn requests. 
• Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to ensure competitive project solutions. 
• Provide value-engineered alternatives and viable lighting solutions. 
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop strategies for customer success and profitability. 
• Maintain strong communication with customers, vendors, and distributors. 
• Manage and track project details in business systems. 
• Build lasting professional relationships across the industry. 
• Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may evolve based on business needs. 

Qualifications 

• Experience in lighting quotations/estimating is required. 
• Strong knowledge of architectural lighting, LED lighting, and controls. 
• Ability to perform takeoffs and interpret electrical drawings. 
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Adobe (Oasis Sales Software experience a plus). 
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. 
• Strong sales and customer service aptitude. 

Pay Range $32-$40

Schedule 

Full-time, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST (with one-hour lunch break).

The Test Solutions Center (TSC) team within the Hardware Engineering Directorate is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing test solutions for all Raytheon products. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. TSC products are in engineering labs, in the field, and in production environments utilized for weapon system product verification, qualification, test data analysis, and production test solution development. TSC has job opportunities across all phases of the engineering lifecycle, including demonstrations, early engineering tests, design verification tests, production, and sustainment.

This position is focused on the development, integration, test, and maintenance of software as a part of on-site factory support of test systems to support product testing. The selected candidate will develop applications, libraries, and instrument drivers using the software style, development language, and integrated development environment specified by the organization.

The selected candidate will contribute to multidiscipline engineering teams. Typical work involves the development of both engineering and production test equipment, environments, and systems. As such, the candidate will contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development for RMD test products. They will be expected to act, either as a part of their team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test systems.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and ten (10) years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 7 years of prior relevant experience.

• Minimum of ten (10) years developing and integrating software applications using programming languages including but not limited to C++, C#, Java, Python or Visual Basic.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of professional engineering experience utilizing integrated development environments and debugging tools to troubleshoot software implementation and ensure integrity of the software products.
• Experience with Windows Operating System, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Microsoft Azure DevOps Server
• Familiarity with laboratory test instrumentation, electronics, and software (Ex. NI VISA, NI Measurement and Automation Explorer, NI Switch Executive)
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued (Secret) security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Working knowledge of computer architecture and computer hardware optimization techniques
• Extensive knowledge of the development of software drivers for the operation of computer hardware interfaces
• Extensive knowledge of common computer hardware interface and data protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, RS-422
• Professional experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML) to visualize software architecture and design (Ex. IBM Rhapsody, Cameo System Modeler, and Cameo Enterprise Architecture)
• Professional experience of software development lifecycles, such as Agile
• Experience with Software Configuration Management principles
