The Design + Production Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the creative design process, production workflow, and build preparation for mall activations, temporary pop-up shops, and in-store decorative installations. This role offers exposure to concepting, layout planning, fabrication techniques, CNC operation, prototyping, and installation support. The intern will work closely with a collaborative, fast-paced creative team to bring immersive, branded environments and display elements to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing concepts, sketches, mood boards, and visual layouts for mall activations, pop-up shops, and store décor installations.
• Support the creation of production-ready files, including technical drawings, cut files, floor plans, and build assets.
• Participate in hands-on fabrication, including basic shop tools, material prep, and operation of CNC machines.
• Help prototype decorative elements and structural components to test functionality, scale, and finish.
• Support quality checks, assembly steps, and pre-install preparation for displays and activation structures.

Qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Field Service Technician I with a strong electrical background who is willing to travel extensively and learn Astec's asphalt plant processes and control systems. This role is responsible for supporting the installation, startup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of client equipment at customer sites. The technician will work closely with engineering, service leadership, and customers to ensure successful equipment performance and high customer satisfaction.

This is a highly hands-on, travel-intensive position suited for individuals who enjoy field work, problem-solving, and working independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Support installation, commissioning, and startup of Astec equipment under the guidance of senior technicians
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical, electronic/control, and mechanical systems

We are hiring a Head of Digitizing Systems & Software to own, evolve, and future-proof the core systems that power our digitizing plant. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, measuring, and continuously improving the end-to-end digitizing systems that convert fragile analog media into secure digital assets at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Digitizing Systems Ownership

• Own the architecture and performance of Legacybox's digitizing systems across all formats (film, tapes, photos).

R&D and New System Development

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment in manufacturing operations.
• Eliminate all causes of failure and ensure full useful life in coordination with daily maintenance.
• Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
• Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.

• Promote safety throughout the entire maintenance organization.
• Ensure building and equipment meet OSHA and State regulatory requirements.
• Supervises the Maintenance Systems department. Provides indirect guidance to other departments and contractors, as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent field, and at least eight years of related experience and/or training in a food or food related industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of five years of experience in food plant maintenance leadership role is preferred.
• Professional Engineers license or Engineer-in-Training license is a plus.
• Must be computer literate; experienced in using computer software applications such as CAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project Management, etc.
• Must have complete understanding of PLC and logic controls for high speed operating equipment.
• Basic accounting knowledge preferred.

Unlike production building, custom residential construction requires detailed estimating, flexible purchasing strategies, and close coordination with homeowner selections, architects, and designers. You will ensure the plant operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulations while driving a culture of continuous improvement and excellence to achieve the company's strategic and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy & Overall Management:

• Provide overall leadership and management of the Memphis plant. Develop and execute the site's annual business plan, budget, and long-term strategic roadmap.
• Be fully accountable for the plant's financial performance (P&L), achieving profitability targets through cost optimization, efficiency gains, and capacity utilization.
• Act as the primary representative of the site, fostering strong relationships with the local community, government agencies, and key customers.

• Operational Excellence & Safe Production:

• Lead all operational functions including Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and EHS to ensure production targets are met on time, with quality, and within volume.
• Serve as the ultimate responsible person for all safety, environmental, and health matters, ensuring 100% compliance with US regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA) and corporate global standards.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives, and cultural transformation to enhance overall plant efficiency (OEE) and competitiveness.

• Team Leadership & Organizational Development:

• Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain a high-caliber, highly engaged management team and workforce.
• Foster a strong culture of safety, quality, and ownership, building organizational capabilities.
• Effectively manage a cross-cultural team, integrating best practices from both Chinese and American management styles.

• Financial, Compliance & Risk Management:

• Exercise strict control over operational costs and capital expenditures (CapEx), ensuring optimal resource allocation.
• Ensure full compliance of the plant with all legal, financial, and corporate policy requirements.
• Identify and manage strategic and operational risks associated with plant operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience:

• 10+ years of progressive operational management experience in chemical, specialty chemical, or advanced manufacturing industries, with at least 5 years in a Plant Manager/General Manager role.
• Proven success in managing a manufacturing plant in the United States, with deep knowledge of local labor, EHS, and business regulations.
• Experience in post-merger integration or greenfield/brownfield project startup is highly preferred.
