Regional EHS Manager
(Based in Pontiac, MI OR Denver, CO OR Oklahoma City, OK ) - Required*
Position Summary:
The Regional EHS Manager has multi-facility responsibility for EHS compliance in Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Environmental arenas at locations in the U.S. This EHS Regional Manager will lead internal EHS audit preparation, create programs, policies and implement changes within EHS, and will work closely with facility management, operations directors and corporate EHS.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement actions to facilitate a strong safety culture through skilled support and employee engagement.
- Coach and guide facility operational leaders and safety representatives on the effective implementation of safety initiatives and provide practical solutions that help them achieve safety excellence.
- Provide input and subject matter expertise on strategic safety processes, tools, and techniques to enhance overall safety performance.
- Coach facility leadership to be safety champions and live safety as a value integrated into the way the facility operates.
- Collaborate with facility management to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Provide EHS technical support for projects within the region.
- Develop training programs related to machine safeguarding, risk assessment processes, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, hazardous energy control, injury case management and support training rollout across the region.
- Conduct inspections and assessments to evaluate the facility's compliance with all federal, state, local and company standards.
- Provide support for regulatory inspections and development of corrective measures.
- Assist and develop required training for safety and environmental programs.
- Participate in facility incident investigations and assist in developing corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly/annual corporate reports per requirements
- Serve as a subject matter expert on environmental programs with technical and operational knowledge in CAA, CWA, RCRA, EPCRA, and state requirements.
- Prepare, maintain, and submit environmental records and reports required by the company and regulatory agencies.
- Analyze/interpret facility and regional safety metrics to proactively target and eliminate injuries, reduce injury rates and achieve positive outcomes through development and execution of corrective actions and strategic plans.

Position Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor Degree required in EHS discipline or related science or engineering
Experience:
- Eight (8) or more years of experience in the Environmental, Health and Safety field
- Must have previous multi-facility responsibility in heavy or light manufacturing in all disciplines of EHS
Certification /License:
- Preferred ASP, CSP, CIH, CHMM, or progress to completing similar certifications
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently prioritizing work to achieve deliverables

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Serve as assistant advisor to the program office for the integration of current and future DoD communications and network technologies.
Perform management and oversight of the contractor development of vehicle network while assisting with integration of Government furnished systems.

Quality, Safety & Compliance Establish and oversee project-specific Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and Safety Programs in partnership with the Superintendent and Safety Manager.
Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
Identify and resolve issues, disputes, or potential risks in a timely and professional manner.
Skills & Knowledge Proven experience managing renewable energy projects, including utility-scale solar or energy infrastructure.
Strong understanding of construction management theory, techniques, and best practices.
Skilled in scheduling, project controls, and logistics planning.
Thorough understanding of project financials, budgeting, and cost tracking.
Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Knowledge of safety regulations, labor agreements, and trade jurisdictions.
Familiarity with LEED, commissioning, and sustainable construction practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook), Procore, and other industry software (e.g., E-Builder, Contract Manager, Covisint).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant construction experience, including successful management of large-scale commercial or renewable energy projects.
Certifications: CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 preferred.
Screening: Pre-employment and annual drug testing required; background checks may be required per client or project specifications.
Working Environment & Physical Requirements Hybrid role with work split between office settings, client meetings, and active construction sites.
Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, uneven surfaces, and typical construction site environments.
Must be able to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
Regular travel to project sites and partner offices may be required.
Adherence to company and project-specific safety protocols, including the use of PPE.

As a Program Controller, you’ll play a pivotal role in steering the financial performance of cutting-edge programs from concept to completion.
Acting as a strategic partner to Program Managers, you’ll ensure accurate planning, cost control, and profitability analysis—while collaborating across Finance, Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations to deliver results that matter.
What You’ll Do Own the numbers: Track and control program costs—tooling, trials, materials, labor, and overhead.
Deliver insights: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for assigned programs.
Be a key player: Support month-end and year-end closing processes and monitor development cash flow.
Plan for the future: Contribute to annual budgets and five-year business plans.
Collaborate for success: Partner with Program Managers to align financial objectives and validate cost assumptions with Purchasing and Engineering.
Drive improvement: Identify financial risks and opportunities, propose process enhancements, and ensure compliance with cost targets and pricing agreements.

Accurate P&L and cash flow forecasting.
Effective tracking of R&D hours, CAPEX, and program assets.
What You Bring Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
Experience: 3–5 years in financial controlling (automotive industry experience preferred).
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and ERP systems (SAP a plus).
Power BI experience is a plus Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, proactive problem-solving, strong communication, and ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
