The Boston Consulting Group’s AI Science Institute (AISI) is launching a postdoctoral fellowship program designed to empower the next generation of applied science leaders. This elite, industry-adjacent program offers PhDs and early-career scientists the opportunity to work on some of the world’s most complex and high-impact scientific problems using cutting-edge AI, in collaboration with top-tier partners across aerospace, healthcare, energy, and materials science. 

Fellows will operate at the intersection of foundational research, real-world deployment, and strategic impact, helping shape breakthrough workstreams with AISI partners. 

Unlike traditional academic or big-tech postdocs, AISI fellows work on problems where the science, the data, and the deployment context are all partially undefined. What Youll Bring

• Lead or contribute to multi-disciplinary research initiatives that apply machine learning, simulation, optimization, or GenAI to real-world scientific domains.

Program Details

• Duration: 24 months, with possibility of transition into full-time role at BCG X.
• Mentorship: Each fellow will be paired with a senior advisor and a technical/scientific lead from BCG X and a partner institution. 
• Resources: Full access to BCG’s infrastructure, compute resources, research datasets, and partner ecosystems. 
• Compensation: Competitive salary aligned with industry postdoc benchmarks, plus support for publishing, conference travel, and IP generation. What Success Looks Like

By Month 6  

• Leading or co-leading a defined AISI research workstream
• Delivering models, methods, or code integrated into an active project

• Producing at least one external-facing research output, such as a paper, preprint, workshop, or open-source contribution. 
• Being recognized internally as a go-to contributor in a priority scientific domain.

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and NFPA regulations across our warehouse operations. As a member of the Programmatic Sales & Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in driving Pinterest's advertising growth and revenue through a full-funnel sales strategy. As the primary partner to clients, you'll drive deal creation, oversee campaign setup, and ensure seamless launches. • Develop and execute full-funnel, programmatic sales strategies for top-tier clients, driving measurable business results across awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention.
  
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with clients and agency partners, leading strategic deal negotiations, QBRs, and educational sessions focused on ad tech innovation.
  
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Pinterest's programmatic ad offerings and digital ecosystem trends, influencing media strategies and solution adoption.
  
• Advise on best practices in programmatic buying, data integration, measurement, and optimization to maximize campaign performance on Pinterest's platform.
  
• Serve as point of contact for programmatic campaigns working with Ops teams to manage deal creation, campaign setup, technical troubleshooting, and real-time optimizations.

• Advanced understanding of full-funnel digital advertising solutions, including brand, consideration, and conversion strategies, with specialized knowledge in search, shopping, display, or (social a plus).
  
• Proven track record of building and nurturing executive-level relationships with advertisers and agency programmatic centers, developing long-term strategic plans, and negotiating high-value partnership agreements to drive measurable business outcomes.
  
• Strong understanding of data and measurement solutions including Clean Rooms.
  
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities; skilled at translating data, macro trends, and campaign performance insights into actionable recommendations that fuel ongoing revenue growth.
  
• Strong consultative approach with the ability to educate, influence, and challenge executive stakeholders while crafting visionary and results-oriented media strategies.

As a machine learning intern at Pinterest, you'll work on tackling new challenges in machine learning and artificial intelligence. • Lead your own project start to finish to contribute in cutting-edge research in machine learning and artificial intelligence that can be applied to Pinterest problems
  
• Collect, analyze, and synthesize findings from data and build intelligent data-driven models

• Use machine learning, natural language processing, and graph analysis to solve modeling and ranking problems across discovery, ads and search
  
• Scope and independently solve moderately complex problems
  
• Demonstrate accountability for the quality and completion of your tasks and projects, collaborating with your team and seeking guidance as needed.
  

What we're looking for:

• Working towards a PhD in Computer Science, ML, NLP, Statistics, Information Sciences or related field
