The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs. Requirements:

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE/QUALIFICATIONS OF THE POSITION:

  • Performs a full range of rough grinding, polishing, and metal finishing operations on components, manufactured parts, and assemblies in accordance with prescribed specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Position Objective: Responsible for engineering documentation including blueprint reading and GD&T tolerances. Develop, optimize and maintain machine processes in a fast-paced production shop.   • Lead the design and development initiatives of mechanical systems from the conception to production of Floe products, ranging from boats and powersports to docks, lifts, and trailers
  • Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior design team members
  • Create detailed models and drawings following proper drafting and dimensioning processes, and meeting design specifications
  • Conduct detailed engineering analysis including tolerance stacks, FEA and DFMEA
  • Engage with R&D technicians and fabricators to create prototypes for concept validation and functional testing

What You Need to Bring to the Senior Design Engineer Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • 5 years minimum of design experience; marine, powersports or similar experience preferred
  • Commanding knowledge of engineering principles and ability to apply principles to projects
  • Detailed knowledge of creating and maintaining an Engineering Bill of Materials
  • Knowledge of and ability to utilize basic GD&T principles
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD systems, Solidworks preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite. (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • A self-starter and able to complete objectives with minimal supervision
  • A working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts

Role Description

KEB America is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer – Manufacturing for a full‑time, on‑site role based in Shakopee, MN. This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting quality improvement initiatives, assisting with the Quality Management System, and analyzing data to drive continuous improvement.


The Quality Assurance Engineer will support a wide range of activities within the Quality Department and is expected to have a solid working knowledge of inspection tools, measurement equipment, and manufacturing quality processes.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • 2+ years of engineering experience preferred; prior Quality Engineering experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform complete machine setups and changeovers on multi-die cold heading equipment.
  • Install, align, and adjust tooling including dies, punches, knockouts, and cutoff components.

  • Conduct first-piece inspections and verify part quality prior to full production runs.
  • Interpret blueprints, job instructions, and technical drawings to ensure proper machine configuration.
