Raytheon’s Land Air Defense Systems ( LADS ) Engineering Execution Department is seeking a skilled and motivated Cross Product Team Lead (CPTL) to support a large Patriot missile program. The CPTL is responsible for various engineering activities, including defining early integration in cooperation with the project development teams, directing CPT engineers, supporting the planning for requirements sell off, planning, execution, and analysis for system integration and verification, in hardware-in-the-loop facilities, ground and flight tests. Activities require the ability to support alternate shifts and/or extended hours and require travel. This position is onsite based in Andover, MA .

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for cost, schedule and execution for Missile systems integration, verification and validation scope across a program.
  • Lead a small team of engineers with planning and execution of integration and test activities for missile sub-assemblies.
  • Working with systems engineers to define knowledge points ensuring risk burn-down throughout the development process.
  • Mentor junior engineers with establishing methodical and disciplined processes for planning and execution of integration and test activities.
  • Prepare documentation such as test plans, procedures, integration information sheets, test cases, and reports.
  • Analyze data to identify and resolve system performance issues and complete requirement verification.
  • Compile, summarize, and present data analysis to internal and external stakeholders, including program leadership and external customers.
  • Collaborate across engineering functions to drive performance and resolve issues. Includes working closely with operations and manufacturing teams.
  • Brief Program Management and USG customer on plans and status
  • Travel as required to meet programmatic objectives. Regular travel between multiple Raytheon locations in Massachusetts is required. Occasional domestic and potential international travel.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience developing program baselines, managing cost, schedule and quality for technical projects.
  • Experience leading/contributing to proposals, such as creating BOEs or contributing to leadership proposal reviews.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with system integration, verification and test of complex missile systems.
  • Experience with planning and conducting integration and test events such as flight test missions.
  • Earned Value Certification.
  • Test Architect Certification.
  • Ability to collaborate with other engineering disciplines, Quality, Reliability, and program management.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
