About the Role:
The Facilities & Projects Engineer is responsible for leading and executing facility engineering and capital improvement projects that support safe, efficient, and compliant operations. Specifically, this role will manage the expansion of Circular’s Anaerobic Digestion and food recycling facility in Southington, CT. This role manages projects from early concepts and design through construction, commissioning, and close-out. They will work closely with operations, consultants, contractors, and vendors. The position plays a key role in maintaining and improving industrial infrastructure while supporting Circular Services’ sustainability and operational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead facility engineering and capital improvement projects, including scoping, planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
- Manage projects from concept, design, and permitting through construction and commissioning
- Oversee mechanical and electrical equipment installations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements
- Coordinate closely with operations teams, consulting engineers, contractors, and equipment vendors to ensure project alignment and execution
- Review bids, proposals, and cost estimates for construction and engineering services
- Identify project risks, troubleshoot technical and schedule issues, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, industrial standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
- Monitor contractor performance, safety compliance, and quality of work on site
- Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, and budgets
- Provide regular project updates and status reports to senior leadership
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, industrial facility management, or construction project management
- Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and contractor oversight

Kelly is currently seeking an experienced Powder Coat Specialist for a Direct Hire opportunity in Farmington, CT! The Powder Coat Specialist will perform all painting-related processes to make sure that all parts are delivered in time and zero defect.
Powder Coat Specialist Responsibilities
- Load parts onto conveyor line and ensure proper preparation for paint/powder coating (tape, plug, bond, etc.).
- Ensure parts are clean and dry before entering the paint/powder coat spray booth.
- Unload parts from the conveyor line and ensure 100% quality of all parts.
- Ensure that all parts are delivered in a manner that prevents damage or defects and with proper paperwork.
- Follow and adhere to the rework policies when handling defective parts from final customer or internal production.
- Must be able to effectively use area tools and equipment, such as forklifts, drill press, power drills, air tools, hand grinders/orbital tools, pressure washers, etc.
- Deburr, grind and clean sheet metal parts that require touch-up or rework.
- Ability to make necessary adjustments to cleaning solutions of parts wash line.
- Assist in paint color changeovers at the spray booths.
- Perform routine checks following the standard processes in the powder coat area.
- Read and understand blueprints and written specifications (also in metric system).
- Must have ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend and lift up to 70 lbs.
- Support and perform 5S and preventive maintenance activities to maintain area equipment and environment.
- Support Shop Floor Management in the area. Improving all related processes.
Experience/Education
- Previous experience in an industrial/ manufacturing environment and/or powder coating area is preferred.
- Knowledge in metal preparation and powder painting strongly preferred.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of MS Office products, quality and lean manufacturing techniques is a plus.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Working independently, while ensuring the timely and cost-effective execution of assigned cases;
- Serving as the primary point of contact with clients including development and coordination of case budgets, work orders, site visits, cost estimates, and associated deliverables. Software Build Engineer - Core Data Platform Team, EISFull-Time, Hybrid (Boston or Springfield)
The Opportunity
You will join the Core Data Platform team, which builds and maintains a suite of tools powering over 2,100 data pipelines in production across MassMutual. As a Software Build Engineer, you'll manage the cloud infrastructure that supports this platform in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment. You'll recommend and evaluate new technologies, contribute to code and patterns, and play a key role in shaping the future of data engineering at MassMutual.
The Team
You'll be a key part of our esteemed Core Data Platform team, focused on enabling and accelerating the delivery of new data pipelines and products. You'll help support a thriving user community of over 12 data engineering teams, located both on-shore and off-shore. Our team is technical, highly motivated, and excels at working in a fast-paced and always evolving environment with agility and resilience. We regularly collaborate to establish enterprise strategy, working closely with architecture, governance, and enterprise infrastructure teams.
The Impact
- Design, develop, and improve build and deployment standards and processes (e.g., CI/CD, orchestration, scheduling) to accelerate delivery and ensure reliability of data pipelines.
- Develop and maintain core infrastructure to deliver scalable, robust, and highly available systems, directly supporting 12+ data engineering teams.
- Evaluate and recommend emergent technologies, tools, processes, and reference architectures, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the design and development of new software components, enhancing platform capabilities.
- Define version control best practices and automate enforcement where appropriate.
- Improve monitoring and logging using technologies such as OpenTelemetry and New Relic, enhancing system observability and reducing downtime.
- Identify areas for process improvement and automation, increasing efficiency and reducing manual effort.
- Collaborate closely with Enterprise Infrastructure, Architecture, and Governance teams, providing mentorship to developers as appropriate.
- Work in an Agile development environment, attending daily stand-up meetings and delivering incremental improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- Cloud: 5+ years of experience working in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS) using infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform or CloudFormation to provision infrastructure.
Ideal Qualifications
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Code: 2+ years of experience as a Python or Java developer.
- Build & Deployment: Excellent understanding of build and continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Github Actions, Artifactory).
- Communication: Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Design: Strong foundation in algorithms, design patterns, and writing efficient code.
- Workflow: Knowledge of orchestration and scheduling tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
- Data: Understanding of data processing technologies such as Apache Spark and Apache Kafka.
- Autonomy: Able to work independently and provide leadership to small teams of developers.

JOB SUMMARY This is highly responsible professional geographic information systems analysis, digital database analysis and administration work involving the maintenance of software and hardware of a computerized digital database.
Work involves responsibility for effective and efficient maintenance of a geographic information system.
Duties include development and implementation of upgrades to system components, providing support to project engineers and outreach staff, map creation, data creation, data analysis, data management, and database development.
This position also has the responsibility for making difficult geographic information system quality control and assurance decisions.
This work requires that the employee have knowledge, skill and ability in computer platforms, Windows operating systems, or comparable, automated mapping and facilities management software.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED Works under the general supervision of the Director of Information Technology or other appropriate staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university in geography, geographic information systems, or a related field plus two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in geographic information system hardware and software operations and maintenance and at least some experience with a Windows, or comparable, operating system.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Must have a valid driver's license.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Knowledge of geographic information systems and cartographic principles and practices.
Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), system programming, and database administration.
Knowledge of public administration principles and practices as applied to work unit reporting and routing administrative procedures.
Knowledge of cartography, geodesy and photogrammetry as related to digital databases.
Ability in oral and written communications.
Ability to administer policies and procedures including planning, routine decision-making, and report development and writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, consultants, vendors, town officials, other utilities, and other governmental agencies.

JOB SUMMARY The purpose of this classification is to provide professional level work related to maintaining The Metropolitan District's cost accounting system.
This classification will assist in analyzing cost accounting data.
Additionally, this classification will be responsible for project costing, variance analysis, inventory reporting and fixed asset management.
Minimum Qualifications A minimum of four (4) years of work experience in cost accounting is required; Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or closely related field is preferred; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this classification.
CPA or CMA preferred.
Prior banking experience, including the reconciliation and tracking of complex financial data is preferred.
