Astound is looking to hire a Business Development Manager (BDM)I, II, or III in the greater Boston, MA market, supporting Nationwide.
The BDM I, II, or III is primarily responsible for Negotiating Right of Entry Agreements and Bulk agreements with condominium associations, property managers, property owners and developers, allowing Astound the opportunity to deliver its residential high-speed internet, cable television and phone services to area MDUs (multiple dwelling units).
Account Management of existing bulk portfolio and negotiation of renewal agreements with current bulk customers.
Negotiate new Right of Entry Agreements and new Bulk agreements with condominium associations, property managers, property owners and developers Source leads for new build opportunities Build relationships with real estate developers and property management firms Manage projects throughout the negotiation cycle as well as support the efforts of the building relations and customer support teams throughout the retention cycle Implement successful strategies to drive expansion of "on-net" commercial buildings in existing and new markets Target, identify and develop strategic revenue-producing partnerships and alliances Evaluate and support business development opportunities identified by our Enterprise sales channel Develop market analysis and business case to support expansion opportunities Build relationships with strategic partners and organizations Work effectively with sales engineering/network deployment team to ensure timely review, assessment and deployment of all leads Be aware of ALL new leads, market developments and potential target buildings, current or future.

What will you do?
- Lead the end-to-end mechanical design and engineering of hyperscale Data Center Infrastructure (DCI) systems, including liquid-cooled rack assemblies, CDUs, manifolds, enclosures, structural frames, and associated hydronic piping systems.
- Serve as the technical authority for single-phase and two-phase liquid cooling architectures, including primary and secondary loop design, in-rack distribution, and system integration within hyperscale data center environments.
- Define and validate operational performance requirements for liquid-cooled infrastructure, including pressure ratings, hydrostatic limits, temperature ranges, flow rates and uniformity, thermal expansion, durability, and serviceability.

- Author and approve technical specifications for piping systems, rack-level cooling infrastructure, and hydronic components, including installation guidelines, maintenance procedures, testing requirements, and compliance with applicable standards (ASME, ISO).
- Establish and oversee validation protocols including hydrostatic pressure testing, leak detection and mitigation, flow resistance analysis, and corrosion verification to ensure regulatory compliance and operational reliability.
- Evaluate customer design proposals and technical specifications to assess feasibility, manufacturability, cost, and risk; provide recommendations to optimize performance and total cost of ownership.

We are seeking skilled Make-Ready Designers (primary focus) and Power Distribution Designers to support engineering programs for major electric and telecom utilities. Ideal candidates bring demonstrated experience in overhead utility pole design, NESC application, clearance assessment, pole loading analysis, and construction package development. Useful design platforms include DDS, Katapult, O-Calc, GIS, MicroStation, AutoCAD, or client-specific drafting systems.
In this role, you will review field/walkout data, evaluate existing attachment conditions, model pole loading, determine make-ready requirements, and prepare accurate construction-ready deliverables.
