Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies across manufacturing and stockroom environments
  • Support discrepancy investigations, including engineering change break-ins and material variances
  • Interpret and validate Bills of Material (BOMs)
  • Perform physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and special counts (both internal and customer-requested)
  • Identify root causes of inventory inaccuracies and clearly document findings and corrective actions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to prevent recurrence of issues
  • Accurately document and communicate findings via email and written reports


Qualifications:

  • Approximately 3 years of experience in inventory control, manufacturing support, materials, or related operations roles
  • Manufacturing environment experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with discrepancy investigations and root cause analysis
  • Basic understanding of Bills of Material (BOMs)
  • Inventory counting experience (cycle counts, physical inventories, special counts)
  • ERP system experience required (Bond ERP preferred; SAP, Oracle, or similar acceptable)

Position Summary

Sterling is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician with strong machining, fabrication, and design experience to join our team. This role will support engineering and production initiatives by designing, fabricating, and modifying components, fixtures, and tooling in a machine shop environment. Job Details RESPONSIBILITIES: Seeking qualified applicants to fulfill the role of a Project Manager and Electrical Engineer capable of overseeing projects from conceptual planning through completion of construction as it pertains to electrical power distribution, lighting design, fire alarm design, and other low-voltage communications systems.

The position will require various project-dependent aspects of integrated electrical design services including: Program development with Clients for new construction and renovation projects; preliminary cost planning and scope development; production of contract documents; bidding and construction administration services.

Candidate must coordinate with Clients as well as other design and engineering consultants to ensure a complete and coordinated electrical design documents.

We are an Electrical Engineering firm only with most of our clients being local architects.

We specialize in Higher Education Facilities, K-12, Commercial Office facilities, Apartment Facilities, Retail and Hospitality, Healthcare.

Candidate will be expected to assist in developing relationships with new clients and participating in company interviews for prospective new projects.

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must be a licensed professional engineer in South Carolina, or other state with the ability to obtain licensure in SC.

Proficient in the use of the following software: Revit and AutoCAD Visual and/or AGI Lighting Software Company uses SKM for Power distribution system modeling and calculations.

While experience with this software is not required, it would be ideal for candidate to have some experience with this type of software.
