BHE GT&S has an exciting career opportunity as a Heavy Equipment Operator at our Mamont Transmission in Delmont, PA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As Heavy Equipment Operator will operate and maintain various types of heavy-duty power construction equipment used in operating, maintenance, and construction activities.
- Perform a variety of duties incidental to the operation of heavy-duty track and/or wheel mounted power construction equipment having an operating weight of 12,000# or more, and/or a tractor-trailer with a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight of 26,000# or more.
- Properly load and secure equipment for transport and operate vehicle used for such purpose. Obtain proper manifest and shipping papers when required.
- Promote good public relations.
- Prepare records and reports as required, including those pertinent to transporting hazardous material (e.g., Driver Inspection Report Form #2513) and other reports required by DOT. Pass all tests required by Department of Transportation.
- Make minor repairs to equipment used in the performance of assigned duties, keeping the equipment in safe and proper working condition.
- May direct other employees in the performance of assigned duties.
- May perform other duties as required in higher or lower classifications.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have experience operating Tandem Truck & Trailers, Truck Tractor & Trailers, and Bulldozer Track Hoe/Side boom.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Class A CDL, Air Brake qualified with H-N endorsement.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Candidates with previous pipeline experience or experience working outdoors in construction/manual labor.

- Designs and produces engineering drawings for natural gas and auxiliary facilities.

All Levels:
- Microstation experience preferred.
- Experience with 3D drawings or modeling.
- Experience with natural gas pipeline and compressor station design.
- Strong math skills, including geometry, trigonometry, and higher mathematics.
- Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, structural, and electrical engineering design drafting principles.
- Knowledge of national gas codes, Pipeline Safety Regulations, and related codes and standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Defines and develops performance metrics.
- Ensures data integrity in reporting and analytics.

- Interactions with various departments throughout the company including but not limited to: Field Operations, Transportation services, Accounting and Management.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:
- Serve as the BHE GT&S primary contact on income tax matters.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual tax accounting according to ASC 740.
- Manage income tax function ensuring accurate and timely reporting of all federal state and local income tax returns and monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Support tax planning and forecasting.
- Provide written and/or oral responses and testimony to federal state and regulatory authorities and supports all regulatory matters concerning income taxes.

QUALIFICATIONS
At least seven years' big four or industry equivalent tax experience. A strong tax provision and ASC 740 background is highly preferred.
