Reporting to: Quality Manager

Reason for opening: Site growth. Historically, 1 Quality Supervisor has overseen both South and North Buildings. This individual will be dedicated to the North Building overseeing Quality Technicians and Quality Operations

Overview: The role involves significant documentation review (25-30%), people management/meetings (20%), on-floor support and issue resolution (40%), and miscellaneous tasks (10%).

Shift: M - F day shift, with the need for flexibility to work weekends as required.

• Demanding workload of 50 - 55 hours per week. Candidates seeking only 40 hours a week are not a fit

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000K

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have a food safety background (PCQI) and experience supervising direct reports, ideally 3-5 quality technicians.
• A strong preference exists for candidates with food manufacturing experience over pharmaceutical, as regulatory requirements differ.

Job Overview:

This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and will directly supervise employees in the QA Lab. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.

The Quality Assurance Supervisor will be responsible for implementation and continuous improvement of quality programs in Affton facility.

Requirements: • Develop and maintain procedures which assure Food Safety and Quality.

• Responsible for identifying and resolving problems.

• Implements various components of quality assurance program comprised of data analysis, systems evaluation, product assessment and quality technology.

• Directs inspection of hardware and systems audit to ensure proper application of management system procedures.

• Directs and participates in completion of environmental monitoring and positive release requirement.

• Responsible for raw material, in process and finished goods quality inspection.

• Directs and advises personnel in special test procedures to analyze components and physical properties of product materials.

• Compiles and analyzes test information to determine operating efficiency of process or equipment and to diagnose malfunctions.

• Investigates complaints on existing products and responds to vendor or customer.

• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet testing schedules.

• Maintains and revises all SOP’s, SSOP’s and forms in the document management system.

• Supports commissioning, qualification and validation for capital projects.

• Trains all personnel on programs related to implementation of the quality and food safety management system including on-boarding, annual and ad hoc training.

• Oversees sanitation responsibilities as assigned.

• Participates in and supports corporate and plant initiatives including GMP, HACCP, SQF, GQMS, KMM, LIMS and others as assigned.

• Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement the Quality Program.

• Identify appropriate standards and procedures for tasks.
• Share best practices, lessons learned, and training opportunities across the enterprise.
• Drive implementation of Site-Specific Quality Plans, policies, and procedures.
• Verify all materials received conform to submittals, are handled properly, and are suitable for use.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings with subcontractors and superintendents.
• Track deficiencies and verify implementation of corrective actions.
• Help coordinate and document building systems testing and commissioning.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with the Project Site-Specific Safety Plan.
• Perform safety inspections and audits as per company practices.
• Maintain and document conformance to the quality plan.
• Monitor and manage deficiencies through to resolution.
• Understand testing and inspection processes and build strong agency relationships.
• Evaluate subcontractor work for accuracy.
• Understand city, county, and state inspection requirements to receive TCO and CO.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5–15 years of progressive construction experience with increasing responsibility.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to walk job sites and climb ladders.

We are looking for an experienced leader in experimentation methodology to join our core Applied ML team. The Applied AI and Machine Learning team handles large-scale data to support many business areas. We develop a cohesive navigation experience across channels and web pages. Our goal is to simplify and improve the shopping experience for everyday entrepreneurs worldwide, helping them quickly find what they need on our website.

In this leadership role, you will enhance the strategic direction of our experimentation methodology efforts. You will use simulations and reinforcement learning, ensuring consistency with business objectives, and supporting cross-functional teams in data-informed experimentation solutions. You will guide teams working at the intersection of large-scale foundation models, multi-agent systems, and RL-based optimization, encouraging a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.

What you'll get to do...

• Define and drive the strategic roadmap for AI driven experimentation methodology, aligning initiatives with organizational goals and business impact
• Supervise and mentor teams of scientists and engineers, providing technical guidance and career development
• Promote meticulous experimentation, including the development of simulation environments and robust evaluation frameworks using machine learning and RL
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate research outcomes into scalable, production-ready experimentation solutions

Your experience should include...

• 3+ years of professional experience managing and leading high-performing teams, including mentoring and coaching team member to achieve organizational goals
• 5+ years of professional experience in experimentation methodology, Reinforcement Learning, and software development 
• 2 + years of professional with experimentation platforms, data pipelines, and analytical tools to guide methodological rigor
• A deep understanding of statistical principles, causal inference, and experimental design for large-scale digital products
• A track record of partnering effectively with experimentation platform teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making
• 5+ years of professional experience translating complex statistical concepts into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences
• The ability to define and implement a vision for experimentation best practices across diverse product areas

• Master's in computer science or equivalent quantitative fields
