Title: Lead Superintendent

Location: Fairfield County, CT

Project Size: $5M – $50M

Compensation: $110,000 – $145,000 Base

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead all day-to-day field operations, coordinating subcontractors to meet safety, quality, and schedule goals
• Serve as the primary safety leader on site, enforcing compliance and maintaining a safety-first culture
• Plan and manage jobsite logistics, sequencing, manpower, and materials
• Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules and field work plans
• Lead contractor meetings, daily huddles, and pre-task planning
• Maintain accurate field reporting and documentation using construction software
• Oversee quality planning and execution in coordination with operations teams
• Train, mentor, and manage Superintendents and Field Engineers
• Support buyout, scopes of work, T&M tracking, and general requirements forecasting
• Collaborate with project management, owners, and business development to ensure successful delivery

What Is Sought:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience)
• 7–12+ years of superintendent experience on commercial or industrial projects $30M+
• Proven ability to lead entire projects or major scopes of work
• OSHA 30 certification (required); STS-C and safety certifications preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, and cost control
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• High level of construction document and drawing literacy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and modern construction software
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and team leadership in the field

Responsibilities:

• Approve label copy and assist with artwork approvals to confirm compliance with local, state and federal requirements in the US and Canada for laundry and home care product development projects

• Support Safety Data Sheet (SDS) development and ingredient disclosure requirements

• Gather and enter data into third-party compliance systems

• Assist with various documentation needs, as requested

• Work proactively with cross-functional teams to ensure product regulatory compliance and provide necessary regulatory documentation

• Develop and document programs and associated processes to comply with regulations and government agencies.

• Assist with raw material, formulation and packaging regulatory evaluations to confirm compliance with local, state and federal requirements in the US and Canada for new laundry and home care product development projects

• Evaluate, approve and document raw material, formulas, packaging and labeling regulatory compliance, taking into consideration but not limited to the following regulations: Toxic Substances Control Act (US), New Substance Notification Regulations (Canada), Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations (Canada), Consumer Product Safety Act (US), Federal Hazardous Substances Act (US), Poison Prevention Packaging Act (US), federal and state Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) regulations (US), California Prop 65 (US), Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (US), Fair Packaging and Labeling Act (US), California Green Chemistry regulations, EPA Safer Choice, etc.

Comments/Special Instructions

This position is hybrid so the person must be local to Trumbull, CT. Wednesday and Thursday they will work in the Trumbull office. 3 days per week they will work from home Mon, Tues, Fri

Occasionally once a month travel to Stamford, CT office.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Bachelors Degree in in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience — 1-3 years experience in regulatory affairs field of Laundry and detergents or CPG products. Knowledge of federal and state statutes and regulations related to pesticide registration (required). Working knowledge of relevant federal and state regulatory programs (e.g., FIFRA, TSCA, Prop 65). POSITION OVERVIEW: The Town of Westport seeks an experienced and collaborative leader to serve as Director of Public Works. Reporting to the First Selectman, the Director oversees a multi-division department responsible for the Town's core infrastructure, including Highway, Equipment Maintenance, Solid Waste Management, Engineering, Wastewater Treatment and Collection, and Buildings and Facilities. Job Summary

The Facility Engineer is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant utility systems while managing critical spare parts inventory and leading Root Cause Analysis investigations. This role combines strong technical engineering knowledge with structured problem-solving skills to support reliability, reduce downtime, and improve overall equipment performance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Oversee operation, maintenance, and optimization of plant utility systems, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, compressors, HVAC, water treatment, and distribution systems.

· Develop and update utility system SOPs, PM strategies, and asset care standards.

· Support troubleshooting of utility equipment failures and provide engineering guidance to technicians.

· Monitor system performance, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.

· Provide technical support for new equipment installations, commissioning, and qualification.

· Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance, operations, and reliability.

Spare Parts & Inventory Management

· Assist Site Manager with identify, catalog, and manage critical spare parts for all utility systems and high-impact production equipment.

· Assist Maintenance manager with maintaining an optimized parts inventory by balancing availability, lead times, and cost.

· Work closely with purchasing to qualify vendors, secure pricing, and manage long-lead or OEM-specific parts.

· Assist the site planner with developing and maintaining a structured Bill of Materials (BOM) library in the CMMS.

· Assist maintenance manager with inventory accuracy initiatives and storeroom organization (5S).

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Reliability Improvement

· Lead and facilitate RCAs for major equipment failures, chronic issues, utility outages, or safety/environmental incidents.

· Use structured RCA tools (5-Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, Fault-Tree, etc.).

· Develop corrective actions, reliability improvements, and long-term engineering solutions.

· Track and report failure trends, MTBF/MTTR, and key reliability KPIs.

· Partner with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and verify effectiveness.

Safety & Compliance

· Ensure all utility systems and maintenance activities comply with OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory requirements.

· Support risk assessments, LOTO standards, and engineering safety reviews.

· Promote a culture of safe work practices and reliability excellence. Assist with permits

Qualifications

Education

(HS Diploma, Under/Graduate Degree, etc.)

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field is preferred.

Business Experience

(prior years’ work/related experience)

· 3–7 years of experience in utilities, maintenance engineering, or plant reliability roles.

· Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, eMaint, Fiix).

· Preferred: Experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or industrial facility environments.

Licenses/Certifications

· Must possess a valid driver's license

Technical Qualifications & Skills

· Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical utility systems.

We are looking for an experienced leader in experimentation methodology to join our core Applied ML team. The Applied AI and Machine Learning team handles large-scale data to support many business areas. We develop a cohesive navigation experience across channels and web pages. Our goal is to simplify and improve the shopping experience for everyday entrepreneurs worldwide, helping them quickly find what they need on our website.

In this leadership role, you will enhance the strategic direction of our experimentation methodology efforts. You will use simulations and reinforcement learning, ensuring consistency with business objectives, and supporting cross-functional teams in data-informed experimentation solutions. You will guide teams working at the intersection of large-scale foundation models, multi-agent systems, and RL-based optimization, encouraging a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.

What you'll get to do...

• Define and drive the strategic roadmap for AI driven experimentation methodology, aligning initiatives with organizational goals and business impact
• Supervise and mentor teams of scientists and engineers, providing technical guidance and career development
• Promote meticulous experimentation, including the development of simulation environments and robust evaluation frameworks using machine learning and RL
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate research outcomes into scalable, production-ready experimentation solutions
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and cultivate a collaborative, innovative environment across the Applied ML team and broader organization

Your experience should include...

• 3+ years of professional experience managing and leading high-performing teams, including mentoring and coaching team member to achieve organizational goals
• 5+ years of professional experience in experimentation methodology, Reinforcement Learning, and software development 
• 2 + years of professional with experimentation platforms, data pipelines, and analytical tools to guide methodological rigor
• A deep understanding of statistical principles, causal inference, and experimental design for large-scale digital products
• A track record of partnering effectively with experimentation platform teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making
• 5+ years of professional experience translating complex statistical concepts into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences
• The ability to define and implement a vision for experimentation best practices across diverse product areas

You might also have...

• Master's in computer science or equivalent quantitative fields

• Hands-on programming skills in Python, Go, or Node.js with CI/CD and observability experience.
• Leadership and project management abilities, including stakeholder management and cross-functional project delivery.
