TechniBlend is looking for a Process Engineering Manager to lead and oversee the process engineering discipline for custom food and beverage processing equipment integrated with automation and control systems. This role ensures process designs meet customer specifications, food safety and regulatory requirements, and performance expectations while driving standardization, innovation, and continuous improvement.

The Process Engineering Manager is a technical leader who collaborates closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Project Management, Manufacturing, and Sales teams to deliver successful engineered‑to‑order projects.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and process‑related risks that could impact quality, schedule, or cost.

Process Optimization & Innovation

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on labor efficiency, cost reduction, and design standardization.
• Improve process robustness and repeatability while balancing customization requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations or performance issues.
• Champion risk assessments, process capability studies, and post‑project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future designs.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all process designs meet company, customer, and industry best practices.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation, including SOPs, sanitation procedures, technical manuals, and training materials.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and applicable food safety and sanitary design standards.
• Support adherence to relevant mechanical, electrical, and safety standards (e.g., ASME, UL, NFPA) as they relate to process systems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Manufacturing, Quality, Service, and Operations teams.
• Provide process engineering leadership during customer reviews, FATs, SATs, and commissioning activities.
• Support Sales and Applications teams during quoting and concept development with process expertise.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Operations to ensure successful project execution and delivery timelines.

Education: BS in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)

Experience:

• 10+ years in engineering roles within food & beverage or related industries.
• 5+ years in a leadership or management position.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of process engineering, fluid mechanics, and sanitary design principles
• Experience sizing and specifying food and beverage process equipment
• Understanding of PLC‑based automation and control systems
• Proficiency with CAD software and project management tools

We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Eagle, WI!

The Manufacturing Engineer I will support the implementation of technology and process solutions within Generac’s fabrication and paint departments. Working under the guidance of senior engineering staff, you will help bridge the gap between design and production by assisting with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) reviews, tracking equipment performance (OEE), and helping optimize production flow on the shop floor.

Responsibilities:

• Process Support: Assist in the layout of production areas and the definition of manufacturing processes. Help select and implement tooling and equipment for capacity and improvement projects.
• Design Collaboration: Support New Product Introductions (NPI) by performing basic DFM reviews on sheet metal components to ensure they can be efficiently fabricated and welded.
• Data & Documentation: Maintain and update process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and policies that support sheet metal fabrication value streams.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in Lean and demand-driven initiatives to improve flexibility and speed. Assist in identifying "waste" within material and information flows.
• Shop Floor Engagement: Work directly with shop floor personnel to learn existing manufacturing methods and help deploy standard Generac tools and methodologies.
• Performance Tracking: Help monitor and report on OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and other key metrics to identify areas for operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology
• 1-3 years related experience in the Engineering function within a similar working environment (Internship or Co-op experience in fabrication or sheet metal is highly preferred).

Preferred Skills:

• Basic understanding of Sheet Metal Fabrication Equipment (bending, laser cutting, welding).
• Strong communication skills and a desire to work in a "hands-on" production environment.

What you'll get to do...

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team delivering critical AI platform capabilities while mentoring engineers to deliver quality software efficiently.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (product, design, and engineering leaders) to define and execute the GoCaaS roadmap and strategic initiatives.
• Drive platform excellence by ensuring reliability, scalability, and optimal developer experience for internal AI consumers.
• Champion engineering best practices, including CI/CD, observability, and secure software development across the organization.
• Collaborate with enterprise teams (security, data, infrastructure) to deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions while fostering a culture of experimentation and technical excellence.

Your experience should include...

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in engineering management or tech lead roles.
• Proven leadership of backend/platform teams delivering production-scale services.
• Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed systems expertise.
• Hands-on programming skills in Python, Go, or Node.js with CI/CD and observability experience.
• Leadership and project management abilities, including stakeholder management and cross-functional project delivery.

You might also have...

• AI/ML Infrastructure Experience - Working with LLMs, RAG systems, or broader AI/ML infrastructure.
• Container Orchestration - Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Security & Privacy - Experience with secure data handling and privacy frameworks.
• Developer Platform Background - Experience building internal tooling or developer platforms.
