JOB SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Engineer is primarily responsible for supporting manufacturing processes in a precision metal tubing manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Engineer assists in planning, implementing, and maintaining processes, equipment, and supporting documentation. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishes and maintains manufacturing routings, process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)s, and work instructions.
  • Works with management to establish project justifications, timelines, and required materials for equipment and process upgrades.
  • Designs, fabricates, and modifies equipment and tooling as necessary to achieve process requirements.
  • Coordinates with Development Engineering, Quality, and Operations to execute qualification activities for new products, processes, and equipment.
  • Executes process characterization studies, design of experiments (DOE)s, and other formal engineering trials.
  • Assists in training and evaluation of production personnel in manufacturing processes.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

This is a permanent position that requires a solid understanding of ISO 9001 and extensive experience with PCB and PCBA.

As the Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our quality control processes, ensuring that our manufacturing operations meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and a proven track record of successfully managing quality control in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities: 1.

Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.

Set and maintain standards for quality and customer satisfaction.

3.

Ensure that all products meet the necessary quality standards and specifications.

4.

Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

5.

Lead and manage the Quality Control team, providing training and development as necessary.

6.

Work closely with the production team to identify and resolve quality issues.

7.

Manage and maintain our ISO 9001 accreditation, ensuring that all processes and procedures are up-to-date and comply with the standard.

8.

Oversee the testing of all PCB and PCBA before they are sent out to customers.

9.

Implement corrective actions when quality issues are identified.

10.

Collaborate with other departments to improve overall productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications: 1.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Control within the Manufacturing industry.

2.

Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and a proven track record of maintaining compliance with these standards.

3.

Strong experience with PCB and PCBA, including testing and troubleshooting.

4.

A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.

5.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

6.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

7.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

8.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

9.

Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

10.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Engineering Project Manager to work with Colorado Springs team. This role is responsible for managing multiple technical development projects in parallel, guiding them from concept through production release.


The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and can confidently align cross-functional teams across multiple U.S. locations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of assigned technical projects from initiation to production release
  • Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans in collaboration with management
  • Assess feasibility, effectiveness, and prioritization with key stakeholders
  • Define project phases, assign responsibilities, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
  • Build and maintain detailed project schedules based on technical requirements and timelines
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities
  • Identify risks, resolve issues, and drive creative technical problem-solving
  • Facilitate project meetings and gate reviews, ensuring documentation and criteria are met
  • Provide timely and accurate project updates to leadership
  • Occasionally travel to related facilities for training or project support


What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience leading technical development projects (5+ years preferred)
  • Background in optical, mechanical, electrical, microelectronics, medical devices, manufacturing, or related engineering fields
  • Experience managing projects from concept through production release
  • Proven ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working with new or evolving technologies
