RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Represent the firm to clients, peer organizations, and business associates
  • Establish programs to accomplish marketing-related aspects of our mission
  • Manage and oversee conference, trade show, and event messaging and materials where we are exhibitors, and attend as requested by management.
  • Manage prequalification activities
  • Manage proposal activities including development of winning strategies for each proposal
  • Production of high quality RFQ/P responses
  • Lead pursuit and approach meetings, alongside Director
  • Direct, communicate, and manage timely collection of deliverables, content, and components from internal and external parties
  • Conduct research to understand client and project needs, preferences and requirements
  • Author, collaborate, and edit proposal content to align with company values and standards
  • Create visually appealing proposals and content, providing information in an attractive and clear manner
  • Manage presentation activities including development of slide deck, story boards, and other supporting materials
  • Coordinate with staff, proposed team members, design partners, subconsultants, and clients to ensure complete, strategic, and winning proposal responses
  • Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate performance, identify lessons learned, and implement improvements for future projects.
  • Lead, coordinate and manage collateral materials development, public relations and advertising programs, corporate identity development and implementation, special events, and market research activities
  • Actively involved in professional and community organizations
  • Manage and coordinate internal and external events
  • Assist with marketing budget development
  • Assist with marketing plan development

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, English, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Ideal candidate has 8+ years of marketing experience in the AEC industry.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, is required.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM software a plus, but not a requirement
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, and exceptional graphic layout design skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks amid changing needs and demands, maintaining a constant attention to detail
  • Flexibility to periodically work outside normal business hours, and travel as required for business needs
  • A positive attitude

Drywall Estimator/Project Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Drywall Estimator / Project Manager will oversee the estimating and management of drywall projects from bid through completion. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of drywall systems, materials, labor productivity, and construction sequencing. This role requires strong analytical skills to produce accurate estimates, as well as the ability to manage awarded projects to ensure they are delivered on schedule, within scope, and on budget. Effective communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams is critical, along with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review architectural drawings, specifications, and addenda to prepare detailed drywall estimates, including material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Know and comply with all relevant building codes, OSHA requirements, and project-specific safety and quality standards.
  • Manage bid process: perform quantity take-offs, prepare proposals, clarify scope, and participate in pre-bid meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to support successful project delivery.
  • Develop project schedules and manpower plans based on drywall scopes and coordinate with field supervision.
  • Secure and allocate resources, including material orders, manpower, equipment, and permits where required.
  • Negotiate and manage changes to drywall contract scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Conduct site walks and inspections to verify installation methods, assess quality, and track productivity against estimates.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, submittals, and cost tracking.
  • Regularly report on project progress, financials, and variances.
  • Provide leadership to project teams, fostering collaboration and mentoring staff.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field; equivalent field experience in drywall estimating/project management may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in drywall estimating and/or project management within the commercial construction industry.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, wall types, finish schedules, and specifications specific to drywall and ceilings.
  • Knowledge of drywall assemblies, framing systems, insulation, fireproofing, soundproofing, and finish standards.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Timberline or similar).
  • Solid computer skills with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • OSHA-30 certification preferred.

Required Skills & Experience


3-10 years of scheduling/planning experience on large commercial, industrial, mining, government, or oil & gas construction projects • Project size $100M + • Direct scheduling experience with proficiency in Primavera P6 are required for this role • Proficient Microsoft Excel skills • Power BI experience preferred but not required • Experience in Critical Path Methodology, Earned Value Management with a demonstrated history of successful schedule reporting, compression, and mitigation efforts
