We can process many advanced materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, ferrous-nonferrous and other exotic alloys.

Job Responsibilities

• Working independently, responsible for the activities and monitoring of the supply chain involved in the savings programs.
• Wearing MRP and/or manual requirements, analyzes the demand to determine the needs of the site, releasing RFQ's for price and availability.
• Responsible for the management of all SB program requests, metrics and reports, meetings with suppliers (SBR's) 3 times
• per year, customer service and availability to travel
• Working independently, coordinates purchasing activities and processes purchase reqs in a timely manner.
• Using MRP and/or manual reqs, analyzes demand to determine need, sends out RFQ's for price and availability.
• Monitors supplier delivery.
• Negotiates price/volume/delivery dates.
• Processes RMA's.
• Expedites and reschedules as necessary to meet production requirements.
• Responsible for resolving AP/AR issues through analysis and investigation.
• May research alternative suppliers for obsolete or long lead time parts.
• Senior Buyers may manage implementation of engineering changes, interpretation of procurement policies, process improvement projects, contract negotiation and approval of PPV's.

Education: Engineering, Administration or Commerce

Experience:

2-8 years’ experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain.

3 years experience buying metals for a machine shop

Knowledge:

Management of Oracle, M3K, Knowledge of key metrics in the purchasing area, negotiation with suppliers, Flexibility Programs (VMI, VCI,830, etc..), Knowledge of MRP and production processes

Skills / Competencies:

Good knowledge and understanding of the supply chain, the negotiation process and cost analysis.

As a Sr. Hardware Test Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a critical part of the Hardware Test team. This is a small team of broadly experienced engineers that strive to ensure that all hardware being produced meets the stringent requirements for aviation. You will be one of the essential interfaces between the design, production, and flight test teams and will be exposed to a wide variety of technical challenges.

You will be architecting automated test stands to replicate extreme flight conditions on our hardware and mechanisms that will serve as the backbone of our qualification testing. You will help to break our development hardware, help root-cause the failure modes, and provide critical input in redesigning it. You will be writing the software and building the hardware platforms for the command, control and data collection systems that will test our systems to rigorous aerospace standards. You will be a technical leader on a team eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of the design, build, and maintenance of mechanical or electrical test stands for development testing, production acceptance testing, functional and environmental qualification testing

• Automate the repetitive aspects of the test stands

• Author, execute, and audit test plans, procedures, and reports

• Work closely with design engineers and flight test engineers to design, build, test and improve flight hardware

• Help the team grow and provide mentorship to peers

Basic Success Criteria

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent industry experience

• 5+ years of industry experience testing hardware in a regulated industry

• Professional knowledge of ECAD tools such as Altium OR MCAD tools such as NX

• Experience with software design and implementation in Python or C/C++

• Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical engineering fundamentals

• Eagerness for hands-on work - integration of sensors, building test fixtures, diagnosing and debugging equipment and hardware

• Proven ability to methodically diagnose, document, and solve hardware problems

• A history working on and around aircraft

As a Mission Systems Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Systems team and will report to the Systems & Safety Manager. The Systems & Safety Team is responsible for architecting systems that support novel safety-critical functions, establishing development methodologies for new technologies, and complying with the federal regulations.

As part of an experienced multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to expanding the aircraft's mission and functional capabilities. • Define and document mission-related aspects of future aircraft operation using insight from a pilot's perspective

• Define and communicate strategies and plans for type certification and operational approval

• Develop training and support documents needed to deploy autonomous systems in an operational environment

In your role as Senior Simulation Software Engineer, you will lead projects to develop a robust, deterministic, and scalable software simulation framework to accelerate testing of safety-critical systems. As a Senior Simulation Software Engineer, you will be part of the Simulation and Test Systems team. As a Sr. Master Scheduler / Buyer at Reliable Robotics, you'll play a critical role in building relationships with key industry partners/suppliers, driving supplier execution for safety-critical systems, and continuously improving our supply chain processes. You will be part of the Production organization, a growing team of highly motivated professionals passionate about delivering high-quality products and services on time, with unquestionable quality. You will have hands-on responsibility for managing end-to-end supply chain activities, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP), supplier relationship management, procurement, inventory management, and kitting. You will also mitigate supply risks, resolve procurement discrepancies, and drive cost-reduction initiatives while acting as the liaison between engineering, quality, and manufacturing. These responsibilities require a strong understanding of the aerospace/aviation market, business objectives, and supplier capabilities to ensure success. This position requires coordinating with internal customers, managing a complex supplier portfolio, and communicating with leadership to develop, implement, and achieve business objectives.
