Head of Business Development (HoBD)

Responsibilities and Duties
Strategic Leadership & Oversight
- Define, implement, and oversee the company’s business development strategy aligned with product roadmaps and long-term corporate objectives.
- Act as the commercial product leader: translate customer needs and market trends into prioritized product opportunities and go-to-market strategies.
- Lead customer discovery and market research initiatives to validate product-market fit, define personas, and shape feature prioritization.
- Establish governance processes to monitor performance, partnership health, and product market success.
- Design pricing, packaging requirements, and monetization strategies that optimize conversion and lifetime value. Run experiments and iterate commercial models.
- Build and scale a high-performing BD team: hire, mentor, set goals, and manage performance. Establish KPI’s, processes for pipeline predictability.
- Develop GTM plays for new products and major feature launches – coordinate Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure coordinated launches and measurable outcomes.
- Measure and report performance: revenue, conversion, adoption, churn, partner contribution, and feature adaptation. Use data to optimize strategy.
- Act as a senior leader and cross-functional influencer: present business cases to the executive team and advise on M&A or strategic investments when appropriate.
- Provide strategic oversight to cross functional initiatives, ensuring alignment across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
- Directs companies Business Analytic Team, establishing priorities.
- Conduit to R&D team at HQ.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with the Business Development team at HQ in Austria.
- Serve as an input provider and sparring partner for strategic and regional product management.
- Participate in the international Business Development collaboration network.
- Maintain strong communication across time zones and cultures.
- Inspire and align multiple stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.
- Travel regularly, including onboarding and key meetings in Austria.
Education / Experience
- 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or product strategy within a product‑centric or technology‑driven environment.
- Proven track record overseeing cross‑functional initiatives, strategic partnerships, or product commercialization programs.
- Hands-on product management experience (roadmap, prioritization, discovery, requirements or GTM – able to speak both commercial and product languages).
- Strong analytic skills – experience with KPI’s, unit economics, pricing experiments, and data-driven decision making. Comfortable with analytics tools (e.g., SQL, product analytics, CRM).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills: experience working with leadership‑level partners/customers.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives across Product engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field; MBA or equivalent experience a plus.

Job Description Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and ad-hoc repairs on assigned conveyors, automation, robotics and ancillary equipment as needed Perform routine troubleshooting of assigned out of service equipment and correct issues, act as an escalation point for lower level technicians, and escalate to leadership and/or more senior technicians as needed.
Record all maintenance issues in maintenance log for each line.
Document all work in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and ticketing systems as appropriate and maintain accurate records of all operating logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC equipment, and other facility systems that are tested on a routine basis.
Mentor all maintenance personnel in developing appropriate skillsets and knowledge of equipment.
Assist maintenance mechanics in work that requires two people or when operational needs demand.
Perform facility/building project work as assigned.
Tasks include, but are not limited to, light bulb/ballast replacement, door repairs, furniture installation, ceiling tile replacement, carpentry duties, plumbing repairs and maintaining operation logs.
Assemble and test equipment to verify correct operation and production.
Analyze and record cause of production delays on daily production reports and initiate procedures to solve equipment malfunctions.
Examine defects and analyze spoilage causes and, where possible, take corrective action and verify the corrective action has eliminated the problems.
Ability to certify on all industrial lift equipment.
Pickers, Reaches, Skates, Booms, Scissor lifts, etc.
Oversee projects as assigned.
Projects will include minor space renovations, inventory management, contractor oversight, and building efficiency improvements.
Oversee, inspect, and monitor the routine maintenance provided by junior engineers.
Will also provide guidance and training as needed.
Required Experience: Education High school diploma or equivalent Work Experience 5 years of experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment repair and maintenance Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, HVAC, or equivalent.
Graduate of an apprenticeship program or hold current trade certification.
Fundamental understanding of machinery/equipment Basic skill level in multiple computer software packages including Microsoft Excel Experience working with inputs, outputs, and PLC logic systems and ability to troubleshoot these systems

A&C is seeking a *Licensed Civil Engineer* to join our Civil Engineering Department at our office located in Watertown, NY.
The successful candidate will work with our Civil Engineering team working on designs related to land planning, site, roadway, and utility infrastructure design. Being a relatively smaller design firm, this position will also include such duties as construction inspection, AutoCAD drafting, project design, preliminary design markups, design calculations, report preparation, client meetings and board meeting presentations. Within this position you will work managing projects under the general guidance of a principal.
This position will require fieldwork travel.

*Desired Skills and Qualifications:*
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology required
· Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.)
· 6 - 12 years of qualifying civil engineering design experience
· Proven technical background in civil engineering
· Ability to develop proposals to help obtain future work
· Successful experience in site design, roadway design for subdivisions and local roads, drainage analysis and design, development of plans, specifications and cost estimates.
· Ability to produce contract documents and project management experience
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to work efficiently with team members and clients.
· Ability to meet project demands and deadlines
*Pay Rage:*
A&C is committed to offering fair and equitable compensation. The pay range listed is an approximation of our good faith effort to provide an anticipated wage range. The specific salary offered is dependent on the candidate’s relevant experience, education, certifications, and licensure.
Pay Range: $36 - $48 / hour depending on experience

The Senior IAM Engineer will lead the implementation and support of modern enterprise Workforce IAM systems.
They will collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure secure identity solutions are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
This role serves as a key technical contact for IAM authentication and authorization services across the organization.
Essential Job Accountabilities (Core responsibilities accounting for 10% or more of the role) 1.
IAM Platform Implementation & Support (40%) · Implement, administer, and support workforce IAM platforms including Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Microsoft Entra, and Duo.
· Design, configure, and troubleshoot authentication and authorization solutions throughout the SDLC.
· Support automated migration of applications from Oracle Access Manager to Microsoft Entra.
· Onboard and integrate new applications with Microsoft Entra.
· Perform detailed root cause analysis of IAM issues and implement preventative solutions.
· Engineer scalable, secure, and high-performance IAM solutions.

IAM Process Engineering & Automation (20%) · Develop, enhance, test, document, and maintain IAM integration processes.

Metrics, KPIs & Operational Support (10%) · Support delivery of IAM metrics and KPIs through system analysis and integrations.

Required Qualifications & Experience IAM & Security Expertise · In-depth knowledge of Workforce IAM, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
· Proven experience onboarding SSO applications and integrating MFA with cloud-based identity providers.
· Strong understanding of modern authentication protocols and standards: o FIDO2, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, Kerberos, Federation · Hands-on experience with: o Passwordless authentication o API Gateways o SCIM connector development o Identity platforms such as Microsoft Entra, Duo, Oracle Access Manager, Ping Identity, Okta, or ForgeRock Compliance & Risk · Practical knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks: o SOX, PCI, FAA, GDPR, PII · Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture, adaptive risk-based authorization, identity proofing, and verification technologies.
· Familiarity with security frameworks and governance standards: o ISO, NIST, CSA Controls Matrix Technical & Industry Experience · Experience with large-scale identity transformation initiatives, including migration from on-premise to cloud-based IAM services.
· Prior experience implementing passwordless technologies in large enterprise environments.
