Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manages proposal development submissions to include responses to Sources Sought and Requests for Information, briefings, proposals, evaluation notices, and final proposals.

Manages multiple proposals, leading proposal resource personnel to include subject matter experts, writers, graphic artists, editors, reviewers, teaming partner participants, and production personnel in the development of the proposal.

Interfaces with Government Contracting Officials regarding solicitation questions, processes, submittals, negotiations, awards, and debriefs.

Coordinates non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and Teaming Arrangements (TAs) with the Contracts staff.

Thoroughly reviews solicitation to develop Proposal Management Plan, to include outlines, compliance matrices, schedules, proposal contact list, questions format, and volume templates.

Directs planning, writing, editing, graphics development, reviews, production, and shipping of assigned proposals.

Schedules and directs data calls, status meetings, and Pink/Red/Gold teams as appropriate.

Coordinates and participates in proposal strategy development and directs the process of integrating and capturing the bid strategy in the proposal.

Is hands on with document development, including formatting; writing; editing; development of graphics, tables, covers and tabs; and proposal production and shipping.

Writes cover letters, executive summaries, resumes, and position descriptions, technical sections, past performance volumes, management plans, contract fact sheets, and Sources Sought and Request for Information responses.

Coordinates and develops responses to prime contractor data calls.

Facilitates the synchronization of technical and cost by working closely with cost developers to match technical volume organizational, staffing, and equipment/material narratives with the price proposal.

Leads organization of the cost volume, by completing required forms, and gathering required DCAA contact, Accounting System, Small Business and Financial status, and Teaming documents, along with other cost volume requirements.

Assists the cost staff with editing of pricing narratives and formatting and organization of the cost volume spreadsheets.

Works with other proposal staff as a team, assisting in a supporting role on projects assigned to others when needed.

Occasional travel may be required.

Research, maintain, and communicate any Government issued changes, amendments, or additional documentation associated with a RFP.

Track and coordinate opportunities on and GovWin.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and practices associated with proposal development in a Government contracting environment.

Technical writing expertise required and graphic design ability a plus.

Director of Quality will work at a Multi $Billion global manufacturing company and lead a team of Quality Engineers, quality technicians and customer support personnel.

  • Manage a team of Quality personnel and participate in Quality Improvement activities, Audits, Certifications and customer documentation.
  • Lead all quality matters related to plant product launches and production.
  • Manage certification compliance with IATF-16949, plus ISO-9000 for some heavy-duty customers.
  • Manage internal QA/QC teams, act Customer Quality, and manage supplier/vendor quality.
  • Implement QA preventative measures and quality planning initiatives.


Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience Leading a Team in Quality
  • Prior experience Managing People in Quality as a Quality Leader.
  • Background in Automotive industry or Heavy Duty Automotive is needed.
  • Experience with IATF 16949 and APQP standards is a huge plus.
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification is beneficial, though not required.
  • CQE or CQM accreditation is a plus.

Role 

Birdstop is entering a phase of rapid commercial expansion and this role will play a critical part in that. You will be responsible for closing revenue opportunities with both new and existing clients. You will be building assets and having discussions that not only service Birdstop clients and regulators, but also set how the industry itself evolves. You will work closely with the CEO, sales, marketing, and implementation on client engagements as well as building the systems and processes to grow the go-to-market organization.


Candidate

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running on enterprise sales to new customers. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of outbound driven sales. Experience driving deals to closing and shortening sales cycles are highly valued. Existing knowledge of the industries we sell into and the technologies we deploy will be preferred. The candidate must be highly responsive and fast to act (measured in minutes and hours) on customer and regulator requests for information. Ability to produce written deliverables quickly and succinctly is a must in this role. The candidate must be able to meet unprecedented problems head on, make sound judgements, and act quickly.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify and target potential clients.
  2. Experiment and validate sales channels.
  3. Qualify leads and assess their suitability for product adoption.
  4. Understand clients' needs, pain points, and goals to provide the right offering.
  5. Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients or partners.
  6. Negotiate terms and agreements to secure new business opportunities.
  7. Close deals that minimize the steps and effort necessary.
  8. Achieve or exceed revenue targets and sales quotas.
  9. Continuously monitor and report on sales pipeline and business development activities.
  10. Translate customer and regulator needs into actionable work items.
  11. Ensure work items are feasible from engineering and regulatory perspectives.
  12. Support on content about Birdstop, including but not limited to case studies, social media posts, website content, and press articles.


Basic Requirements

  • 4+ years working in enterprise sales in a fast-growing nimble organization.
  • Experience closing deals independently and quickly.
  • Familiarity with negotiation of enterprise contracts.
  • Strong written communication skills and actual enjoyment of writing.
  • Ability to meet rapid timelines and communicate any deviations to timeline expediently.
  • Experience as the point person for company presentations, financial models, and other key company materials.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in written and oral communication with English.
  • Work authorization in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Ability to work from Birdstop’s headquarters in Detroit, Michigan.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

  • The Project Coordinator duties will be to support the Project Management Office (PMO) and assist project managers in the coordination of processes, administration, reporting, and project execution.
  • The Project Coordinator will also be responsible for managing smaller projects, as assigned.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Project Manager and PMO Leadership to ensure project documents are correctly organized and attributed.
  • Assist with scheduling deadlines and maintaining project deliverables schedules for multiple projects.
  • Assist with subcontractor/vendor process.
  • Attend project meetings as needed.
  • Coordinate and track internal initiatives for PMO.
  • Track project deliverables as they move through the approval process.
  • Coordinate small to medium size projects to ensure delivery on time, on budget, and to agreed quality standards.
  • Coordinate application teams and ensure timely execution of the various tasks.
  • Coordinate PMO/Project meetings including logistics, conference bridges and distribution lists.

Assist PMO with the following process responsibilities, when needed:

  • Time entry training, reporting, and tracking.

  • General accounting principles preferred including understanding Capital and Expense.
  • Motivation – Self-motivated, able to complete tasks/assignments under minimal supervision.
  • Strong Organization Skills: o Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet the weekly schedule of activities with excellent attention to detail. o Ability to track, prioritize and handle multiple activities with a high degree of interruption.
