The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities within the organization. This role involves managing the maintenance team, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of equipment and facilities. The Maintenance Manager collaborates with various departments to minimize downtime, reduce operational costs, and enhance overall equipment performance.
Essential Functions
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support, performance feedback.
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure timely response to equipment breakdowns and preventive maintenance tasks.

- Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources, cost savings opportunities and optimizing expenditures.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with external vendors for specialized maintenance services and equipment procurement.
- Maintains appropriate replacement and repair parts including accurate inventories.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and organizational policies.
- Provide staff training in a variety of safety and maintenance topics including: effective utilization of maintenance logs, completion of routine maintenance specific to the facility, equipment operations, multimedia safety training.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment history and repair logs.
- Generate regular reports on maintenance performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in maintenance operations.
- Ensure facilities and grounds are maintained and evaluate our long-term needs in relation major projects and property improvement.
- Implement best practices to enhance overall equipment performance and reliability.
Qualifications
- Education: Associates' degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Experience: 10 years in maintenance management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting. 5+ years supervisory experience required. Experience leading improvement efforts in Maintenance Reliability, Predictive and Preventive Maintenance. MS Office Suite knowledge a must.

About the role:
Based in the Cincinnati, Ohio area, this role is responsible for increasing Thryv’s penetration to the existing client base, increasing client engagement with existing software clients, and growing the SaaS client base through new sales. This role calls on existing clients to nurture and grow relationships while identifying and pursuing new client opportunities to meet a predetermined sales quota. The Software Account Executive conducts greater than 50% of their work outside their home office (to visit local businesses).
- Identifies and secures new SaaS clients by leveraging self-generated prospecting (i.e. networks, referrals, etc.) and company-initiated prospecting programs (90%)
- Contacts assigned clients and presents opportunities for additional sales and/or extended usage based on client needs (10%).
- Executes all defined operational processes and requirements with excellence (i.e., designed cadences for client and prospect engagement, ongoing product and demo certifications, order entry requirements, centralized intake forms, etc.).
- Participates in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.

Basic Qualifications

- The ideal candidate will have experience in Enterprise-level sales (not a requirement)
- Strong industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships.
- Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures
- Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS office and the ability to learn new programs and systems

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Engineering (preferably Reliability, Industrial, or a related discipline) from an accredited college or university; or 2 to 5 years of relevant engineering experience and/or specialized training in reliability or industrial engineering; or an equivalent combination of education and practical engineering experience
- minimum of 2 years of experience in applying the concepts of Continuous Improvement (Lean/Six Sigma).
- CMMS platform experience required, Corrigo experience preferred
- Maintenance program experience is preferred
- Must possess a valid driver’s license. Ability to travel to Canada (valid Passport) preferred
- Lean/Six Sigma certification is strongly preferred: Ability to achieve Green Belt certification within 12 months
- Strong written and verbal command of the English language required
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including macros, Power Query, pivot tables, formula creation, and troubleshooting
- Experienced with CMMS and SharePoint platforms for asset management and document collaboration
- Familiarity with SmartSheet and the Microsoft Power Suite—including Power BI and Power Automate—is desirable
- Ability to quickly understand and apply technical concepts

Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this Job, the majority of the time the employee would be working in a standard office environment. Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
