Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Account Manager based in Chattanooga, TN. In this role, the Account Manager will oversee customer relationships, develop and execute sales strategies, and identify opportunities for growth within key accounts. Responsibilities include managing customer accounts, collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions, maintaining industry-specific knowledge, and representing BBP at client meetings and various industry events.
- Pursue and win projects and day-to-day business
- Identify and scope out capital projects, expansions, retrofits, etc.
- Update and communicate specific sales action plans to ensure success with all product lines
- Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals within the established territory
- Proactively communicate opportunities across outside sales channels and with manufacturers
- Develop technical knowledge to be a resource for our customer base
- Specify/recommend products to meet customer applications
- Become subject matter expert for major product lines
Qualifications and Skills
- Located in Chattanooga, TN area
- Working knowledge of the process industry with experience calling on industrial and manufacturing facilities, OEMs, and engineering firms.
- Experience in industrial measurement and control devices and how these devices fit within the customer landscape. Working knowledge of instrumentation, valves, analytical, and control products is a plus.
- Sales Professional with a strong desire to be in industrial environments with a focus on customer service and solution selling.
- 1-year experience in a related field preferred
- Technical product background in industrial automation a plus
- Mechanical engineering or related degree a plus
