Responsibilities
Naval Reactors Engineers have oversight of the Navy's entire fleet of nuclear-powered ships as well as shore-based prototypes and nuclear propulsion support facilities for America's Navy. The wide array of technical areas involved in the Naval Nuclear Propulsion program include:
Reactor and fluid systems design
Reactor physics
Materials development
Component design such as steam generators, pumps and valves
Instrumentation and control of reactor, steam and electric plants
Testing and quality control
Shielding
Chemistry and radiological controls
As a Navy Reactors Engineer stationed at Naval Reactors Headquarters in Washington, D.C., you will provide technical oversight while managing projects ranging from reactor design to fleet operations to de-fueling and decommissioning warships.
Work Environment
Preliminary training and eventual staff assignments center around Naval Reactors headquarters at the Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. At headquarters, you will be a part of a stream-lined, elite staff of roughly 500 people who oversee the entire Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program from cradle-to-grave.
Even junior level Naval Reactors Engineers assume responsibility for key technical work in a variety of state-of-the-art facilities, including:
Two Department of Energy laboratories
Two nuclear prototype/training sites
Nearly 100 nuclear-powered ships and submarines
Six shipyards

Training & Advancement
Upon graduation from college, the formal training process of becoming an officer in the Naval Nuclear Propulsion program is officially underway. For those pursuing a Naval Reactors Engineer position, the first step is Officer Development School (ODS) in Newport, RI - a 5-week course of instruction in Newport, RI, that provides a comprehensive and intense introduction to the responsibilities of being a Naval Officer.
Upon completion of ODS, newly commissioned Ensigns move on to receive initial training at Naval Reactors Headquarters in Washington, D.C. (9 weeks of instruction) and Nuclear Power Training Unit (2 weeks of instruction) that form the basis for more advanced academic work. Officers then attend Bettis Reactor Engineering School (BRES), a 6-month postgraduate-level education in nuclear engineering at Naval Nuclear Labs just outside Pittsburgh, PA. This is followed by approximately three weeks spent gaining a working background at one of the Navy's shipyards in either Newport News, VA, or Bremerton, WA.
Following the training pipeline, Naval Reactors Engineers are then assigned a Nuclear Engineer position with the group responsible for managing all technical aspects of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion program-reviewing, approving and confirming the design, operation and maintenance of nearly 100 nuclear reactors. Continuing education is required for the next six months as Engineers start in a junior role under a supervisor and rapidly advance to take on increasing responsibilities and complete their 5-year commitment.

Qualifications & Requirements
Because of the demanding nature of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program and the magnitude of the responsibilities members will take on from a young age, requirements to become a candidate and join NUPOC are stringent.
The NUPOC program is open to both men and women. The following program qualification criteria apply.
To be an eligible candidate, you must:
Be a U.S. citizen (dual citizens must renounce non-US citizenship)
Be at least 19 years of age and less than 29 years of age at the time of commissioning-waivers up to 40 years of age for select jobs may be available
Meet any additional physical standards of the Navy
Education Requirements
Candidates must be graduates or students of an accredited college or university in the United States or in a United States territory pursuing a BA, BS or MS (preferably major in mathematics, engineering, physics, chemistry or other technical areas). Those still in school may apply as early as 18 months from completion of an undergraduate degree for Naval Reactors Engineers. Applicants may also join the NUPOC program as early as 12 months from completion of a master's degree. Additional academic requirements include:
Completed one academic year of calculus
Completed one academic year of calculus-based physics
A competitive GPA and a minimum grade of "B" in all technical courses
General qualifications may vary depending upon whether you're currently serving, whether you've served before or whether you've never served before.

Job Description:
Your Team & Role As an Infrastructure Security Engineer for the Global Technology Workforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) Team, you will partner with technology leads and engineers to develop and improve IAM solutions. You will design, test, and engineer new and existing solutions and streamline our day-to-day workflows, and help the Identity engineering team to meet project timelines and complete net new business as usual (BAU) work. We are hiring a Senior Semantic Engineer / Ontology Engineer to lead the design of healthcare-grade ontologies and semantic layers that power trusted analytics, interoperable data products, and AI-ready knowledge systems. You will apply metrics-first semantic modeling and ontology engineering practices aligned to the principles such as clear semantics, reusable meaning, governance-by-design, and measurable business outcomes. You'll work across RDF and property graph paradigms and Snowflake semantic layer.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and evolve healthcare ontologies and semantic models to standardize meaning across domains (clinical, patient, provider, claims, access, quality, outcomes).
• Design data products that are AI-ready and leverage ontologies and semantic models
Build metrics-first semantic layers:
• Define canonical metric definitions, dimensions, hierarchies, and calculation rules.
• Ensure metrics are explainable, auditable, and consistently implemented across products and teams.
• Model knowledge in both RDF (RDFS/OWL) for formal semantics and interoperability.
• Property graphs for traversal-heavy use cases and relationship analytics.
Develop and maintain semantic artifacts:

• Alignment patterns between ontologies, data products, and downstream analytics/AI use cases.
Implement semantic integration patterns:

• Contribute to solutions that leverage Snowflake Cortex for semantic enrichment and assisted discovery (within established governance constraints).

Required Qualifications
• 8+ years in semantic engineering, ontology engineering, knowledge graph development, or closely related roles.
• Demonstrated experience in healthcare data domains (payer/provider, clinical, claims, RWE, quality, outcomes, etc.).
• Strong hands-on ontology engineering experience: RDF, RDFS, OWL, SPARQL and/or graph query experience
• Ontology modularization, alignment, and lifecycle management
• Experience with property graph modeling (e.g., Neo4j-style patterns) and translating between RDF and property graph representations when needed.
• Proven delivery of a metrics-first approach:
• Canonical KPIs/metrics definitions, dimensional modeling alignment, semantic consistency across BI and data products.
• Experience working with modern cloud data platforms, especially Snowflake, and exposure to Snowflake Cortex for AI-enabled workflows.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills: able to translate clinical/business intent into precise semantic definitions and usable artifacts.
Preferred Qualifications

- Develop Faith and Performance project estimates, Bill of Materials (BOM), Bid Response submissions, and project agreements in partnership with the Sales Engineer and Proposal Manager
- Create Sketchup Models that assist in communicating concepts to the client in the early steps of the sales engagement, as well as being used as the basis for other design deliverables through manufacturers such as loudspeaker systems, camera plots, and house lighting designs
- DE may have client interaction and contribute to the P and L performance.
- Project lifecycle is important and learning the standards our clients are comfortable with is just as important as selling new technology and solutions where they fit. The position bears the responsibility to assist in developing long lasting client partnerships alongside the Sales Engineers & work with team members to maintain the account on all levels.

How You'll Contribute:
Under general supervision, the Field Engineer will commission AV systems at client sites to provide the optimal performance according to the scope and design intent. Responsible for drawing redlines, network coordination, and communication with the project team.
Location: Greater Toronto Area
What will you be doing?
- Commission AV systems at client sites by optimizing settings in the equipment to ensure the system is operating as designed according to scope and drawings, documenting any changes via redlines returned to the PM and DE, and completing the project quality checklist.
- Work to pre-commission sales in the office.
- Communicate status to stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Troubleshoot technical issues by tracing signal flow and engaging the appropriate parties to assist in resolving the issue.
- Configure AV network and coordinate client network.
- Create and modify DSP files for typical systems with an emphasis on AEC optimization for videoconferencing and coordinating control objects with programmer.
- Contributes lessons learned feedback to the install, design, and pre-sales engineering teams to constantly improve system designs, product selection, and implementation.
- Archive configuration and programming files with appropriate labeling to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the service team.
- Maintain and grow certifications and technical knowledge.
- All other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY
This temporary opportunity focuses on maintaining critical billing operations to ensure consistent cash flow and prevent invoicing delays. The role is centered on executing core billing functions, supporting project teams, and ensuring accuracy across all financial transactions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing billing workflows with minimal oversight in a project-based, billable-hours environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate and prepare draft invoices using project-specific billing terms within an ERP system
- Review billing drafts to confirm accuracy of labor hours, expenses, subcontractor costs, and applicable rate structures
- Partner with project managers to validate employee timesheets and ensure billable hours are correctly captured
- Apply contract terms such as fee caps, percentage completion, and fixed or scheduled billing structures
- Adjust billing details and extensions based on internal guidance
- Finalize invoices, distribute to clients, and resolve any billing discrepancies or client inquiries
- Review and validate invoices submitted by subcontractors for accuracy and compliance
- Post completed billing transactions to the general ledger while maintaining organized financial records
QUALIFICATIONS
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Vantagepoint (or similar project-based ERP platforms)
- Background in environments with billable hours such as architecture, engineering, legal, or similar professional services
- Experience collaborating with project managers to review timesheets and generate client invoices
- Strong understanding of billing structures including time & materials, lump sum, and percent complete
- Knowledge of state and federal invoicing requirements across multi-state projects
- Ability to troubleshoot billing issues and communicate effectively with internal teams and clients
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
