The Role We Want You For

As an MEP Superintendent, you will be based on the construction project site and will be responsible for field operations and onsite construction management of design-build construction projects, specifically quality control for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection, construction, start up, and testing on highly complex projects nationwide.

The Specifics of the Role

• Coordinate with preconstruction, design, engineering, procurement, operations, safety, quality, and all other project site management team members to assure that the there is always adequate project resources.
• Coordinate, direct, and monitor the activities of MEP/FP subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate and administer MEP/FP related materials, systems, and shop drawings submittals.
• Coordinate and administer MEP/FP RFI’s, field changes, and other field engineering related items.
• Coordinate and administer MEP/FP Quality Control, Start-up and Energization, Pre-Functional Checklists, and Functional Performance Testing.

Requirements

• B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent trade experience with progression to management levels.

• Ability to supervise construction employees and subcontractors to accomplish work within budget and schedule constraints.
• Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to travel or relocate to jobsite.

The primary function of the Structural Steel Estimator, Steel Procurement is to provide accurate bid proposals for Structural Steel and scope analysis for potential construction projects.

• Responsible for accurate material quantity take-off.

The Electrical Preconstruction Manager will participate in all aspects of the preconstruction process for electrical systems to develop accurate, detailed cost estimates with a focus on heavy/ advanced manufacturing, industrial and mission critical projects. This role will be expected to interact with engineers, architects, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, a multi-discipline estimating team, project supervision, and field personnel.

The Specifics of the Role

• Periodically attend pre-bid meetings to become familiar with unique project requirements and analyze existing site conditions to determine required scope that is not already indicated.
• Review and interpret project documents to determine job-specific material, equipment, and labor requirements for scope development.
• Assist in preparing written scopes of work for subcontracts and suppliers and coordinating electrical scopes with the work of other trades (e.g., civil, structural, architectural, mechanical etc.).
• Participate in pre-proposal design coordination meetings to support the development of pricing documents for conceptual estimates.
• Perform quantity survey of electrical systems and components using digitized software, and apply industry standard labor rates (e.g., MCAA, PHCC, etc.) to support the development of accurate cost estimates.
• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor for conformance with proposal requirements; level scopes and identify low cost/ best value responses while capturing assumptions, rationale, inclusions, exclusions, etc.
• Assist in the preparation of estimates used for bidding and budgeting purposes (including self-performed work); participate in internal estimate review process and assist with final recap of estimate for presentation to senior management.
• Support project management tasks, including budgeting, schedule development, interim design review, change order pricing, procurement, value engineering, and vendor selection based on proposal development.
• Coordinate with project teams to evaluate productivity for historical data and schedule/ cost forecasting purposes.
• Perform quantity survey of completed designs and/ or past projects to support historical cost data collection and analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or a combination of education (including trade schools) and professional experience.
• 5-10 years of experience in construction with 3+ years of experience estimating electrical systems.

As a Project Cost Manager, you will be assisting in the development and management of the project financial strategy. You will be working directly with the project management team to manage the project budget, costs, change orders, pricing requests, billings, and forecasts. You will be responsible for generating and maintaining reports that provide information to different groups, work with the management team to identify variances, risks and maintain quality control processes to improve project cost procedures and ensuring conformity with management's strategy.

• Works with all project disciplines to ensure understanding of total project cost budget allowances and targets.
• Review project documents and specifications to accurately identify, develop and track request of change orders (owner and subcontractor related), baseline estimates, potential risk exposures while communicating potential impacts to the financial targets, schedule, and overall project management process.
• Works closely with the accounting department to ensure the correct integration of all information needed to ensure accuracy in billings, payment applications, change orders, direct cost, labor cost, etc.
• Works closely with the project management team, executive management personnel, subcontractors, as well as occasional contact with clients.
• Responsible for cost engineering, cost estimation, cost analysis, and control activities for projects with significant non-routine requirements or for proposal estimating activities which require a moderate degree of technical skill and experience.
• Ensuring quality, accuracy, consistency, spend profile, performing change management, and transparency in all cost management deliverables.
• Take ownership of the cost control function and ensure integrity of the cost and forecast reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Construction Management, or related degree.
• 5-10 years of Project Cost experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of project development stages, procurement, project controls, and construction execution practices is required.

The Quality Control Manager will implement, oversee, and manage all aspects of the Quality Control program. This includes documentation and inspections performed by testing personnel and any others required by contract. Summary Description

The SiteForce Engineer supports national manpower coordination and contract execution for SiteForce, a business unit of Concrete Strategies focused on providing general labor to General Contractors. This role bridges field operations, client coordination, and internal cost tracking to ensure manpower deployment aligns with contract scope, schedule, and budget.

This is an operations-focused role centered on labor performance, contract compliance, and resource alignment. The SiteForce Engineer works closely with operations leadership, field supervisors, and client representatives to ensure manpower is deployed effectively and contractual obligations are executed accurately.

Specific Responsibilities

Manpower Coordination & Labor Performance

• Assist in nationwide manpower dispatch based on operational demand.
• Coordinate directly with field leadership to confirm labor needs and scheduling.
• Monitor manpower allocation relative to scope and schedule.
• Ensure weekly field time is accurate and aligned with project cost codes.
• Support workforce planning adjustments based on client demands.
• Contract Management & Cost Control
• Support contract review to ensure labor scope alignment.
• Assist with change order documentation and tracking.
• Participate in invoice coding and cost tracking tied to manpower deployment.
• Monitor labor costs relative to contract value and scope.
• Coordinate with client (GC) representatives regarding manpower-related items.
• Assist in validating cost spreads and tracking contract exposure.
• Education / Experience / Requirements
• 0–5 years of experience in construction operations, engineering, or production support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of construction contracts and change management.
• Understanding of job cost structures and labor productivity metrics.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Ability to communicate effectively with field teams and client representatives.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

The Role We Want You For

As a Project Director, you will be based on the construction project siteand provide leadership on projects as the "single point of contact" for the owner, design department, and the project staff. At Clayco, The Project Director will work with marketing, pre-construction services, business unit leaders, and mentoring Project Managers and Engineers and have overall responsibility for these projects.

The Specifics of the Role

• Build client and subcontractor relationships.
• Team with Architects, Engineers, and Planners to create and manage a design schedule.
• Establish project forecasts and budgets.
• Manage costs.
• Accept full responsibility for project execution.
• Mentor and develop project management staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related.
• 15-20 years of experience managing construction projects ($100+ million) ideally design-build.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology.
• Previous experience leading a successful project management team.
• Ability to walk a job site, climb ladders, and scale multi-floor scaffolding.
• Ability to lift objects of at least 50 lbs.
