Essential Functions

• Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving tools, including 5Y2H, A3, 8D, and Fishbone diagrams, to identify root causes of process inefficiencies and quality issues.
• Develop and manage project charters to define objectives, scope, timelines, and deliverables for continuous improvement activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
• Experience in continuous improvement, process engineering, or a quality-related role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving methodologies such as 5Y2H, A3, 8D, and Fishbone diagrams.
• Experience leading Kaizen events and developing project charters for process improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and experience supporting or managing QMS processes.

Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager provides direction to the maintenance department with specific focus on timely preventative and corrective maintenance of the facility, manufacturing, and auxiliary equipment that ensures consistent and safe operation. Must have the capability to develop, coach, and identify training needs of staff members to support evolving equipment requirements for this site. The Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for developing and managing annual budgets, and must have a good understanding of lean manufacturing principles including 5-S and TPM..

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain programs for the operation and repair of all production and support equipment to ensure KDP quality standards are met.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal customers in support of plant-wide operations.
• Support the site objectives by directing safe and efficient preventive and corrective equipment repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

Inspection activities are primarily routine and standardized. Candidate will work under direct supervision from higher level inspectors and engineers. Work requires knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in highway construction; knowledge of geometry and basic mathematics; ability to read, interpret and explain construction plans and drawings, contract provisions, and specifications; and communications ability.

Primary Responsibilities will be:

• Perform inspections of traffic control, environmental controls, layout, construction methods and materials, and all issues concerning the construction of a project under direct supervision.
• Determine the acceptability of the day?to?day work performed by the contractor. Review and recommend the acceptance or rejection of daily reports submitted by the contractor, perform inspection of the contractor's quality control procedures and material testing, and verify that procedures are in conformance with the approved Quality Control Plan and established procedures.

The engineer will lead automation initiatives, ensure system reliability and compliance, and provide technical leadership across multiple engineering disciplines.
