About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze roadway drainage, stormwater management, and erosion control systems.
  • Perform hydrology and hydraulic analysis for transportation projects.
  • Develop plans for stormwater management systems, bridge and culvert hydraulics, and BMPs.

The Boeing Missile & Weapon Systems division is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to oversee the Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) software team in St. Charles, MO (St. Louis Metro Area). Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage software engineering team through the software development life cycle.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with peers, business partners, customers, and other stakeholders.

  • Oversee software architecture, design, and implementation practices to ensure compliance with Software Engineering Design Practices, safety-critical requirements, and Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) inputs.

  • Participate in program operating rhythm to include Program Increment (PI) Planning, program risk/issue/opportunity (RIO) process, and EVMS activities.

  • Takes a collaborative approach to develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and develop and maintain roadmaps.

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes and provides oversight and approval of technical approaches in alignment with organizational strategy.
