Insight Global is assisting a signal processing and optical telecommunications client of ours in identifying an Embedded Software Development Engineer for a direct-hire opening. The Embedded Software Development Engineer designs, implements, and tests embedded software features running on both in-house developed and commercial hardware platforms.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for optical telecommunications equipment.
• Develop software in C/C++ for embedded Linux SoC systems and microprocessors.
• Collaborate closely with hardware design engineers to support rapid embedded software development: Provide software input during schematic design reviews and assist with board bring-up, debugging, and validation.

Key Role Description

The Pipeline Engineer sustains project management and integrity management for reliable operations in compliance with all Federal and State Pipeline Regulations of all pipeline and facility assets. Performs front end studies, cost estimates, detailed design, and construction support of gathering and transmission pipelines & tanks in the MIPC system. Assumes responsibility for pipeline engineering and project management including scope, estimates, schedule and budget. Estimator / Project Manager

Position Summary

The Estimator / Project Manager oversees Plumbing and HVAC construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is responsible for estimating, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and coordination with field teams, subcontractors, and general contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

• Identify scope changes and prepare pricing.

Safety, Quality & Procurement

• Support jobsite safety plans and company safety standards.
• Ensure work complies with project specifications, drawings, and applicable codes.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery of plumbing and HVAC materials and equipment.

Project Closeout

• Manage punch lists, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and final documentation.
• Ensure final billing, inspections, and project closeout requirements are completed.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3–7+ years of experience in plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical construction estimating and project management.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of plumbing and HVAC systems and construction documents.
• Experience with estimating software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities:

▪ With the support of the development team, establish due diligence tasks and prepare pre-development budget

▪ Advance due diligence and entitlement activities to support finance closing

▪ Work with finance, operations and ownership to develop project goals and parameters 

▪ Manage the design process to ensure alignment with the preliminary Basis of Design, budget and design schedule

▪ Solicit, qualify and negotiate proposals for construction related services. Prepare final agreement(s) for execution

▪ Lead regular construction meetings to ensure coordination between the design team, consultants and construction manager

▪ Facilitate the proper flow of information between design team, construction manager and ownership

▪ Proactively make recommendations to avoid construction problems

▪ Regularly monitor actual construction progress as compared to the agreed upon schedule

▪ Regularly monitor budget progress throughout the life of the project

▪ Evaluate and negotiate construction change orders

▪ Perform regular site visits to ensure work is in conformance with the contract documents and good construction practice

▪ Track the creation and completion of architect and engineer’s punch list in anticipation of turnover to operations

▪ Establish and maintain a monthly development cost report for each project

▪ Facilitate the Monthly Draw Process with the assistance of Accounting and Finance

▪ Prepare and present a Monthly Project Report to ownership

Qualifications:

▪ 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction, architecture, or development

▪ Strong academic performance preferably in engineering or construction management

▪ Able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and demands while maintaining a focus on details

Position Overview

The Property Management Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational and financial performance of a portfolio of commercial properties. This role supports property managers within the team while ensuring strong tenant relations, vendor coordination, financial reporting accuracy, and overall property performance. The position requires full-time onsite presence and collaboration with internal teams, tenants, vendors, and ownership groups.

Key Responsibilities

Property Operations & Portfolio Support

• Manage and support a portfolio of approximately 48 commercial properties
• Assist property managers with capital projects, inspections, and operational oversight
• Coordinate with onsite/mobile engineers to address maintenance and facility needs
• Communicate regularly with tenants and vendors to ensure service excellence
• Review and manage vendor proposals and service agreements

Financial Management & Reporting

• Prepare and review monthly financial reports for ownership, including variance commentary
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on delinquent tenant payments
• Issue default notices when required
• Support annual budgeting processes and CAM reconciliations
• Process expenses and manage contracts, purchase orders, and invoicing within property management systems

Administrative & Systems Management

• Utilize property management and P2P systems for contract, procurement, and invoice processing
• Maintain accurate financial and operational documentation
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial property management experience
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Experience with CAM reconciliations
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing office and/or retail commercial properties
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (High school diploma acceptable with relevant experience)
