Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Vibration Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will monitor, collect, and analyze vibrations on rotating equipment as part of a predictive maintenance program. You will diagnose equipment issues, provide repair recommendations, and help reduce unplanned downtime and maintenance costs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect vibration data (overall & FFT) on pre-defined routes.
  • Analyze vibration data, establish baselines, and set alarm levels.
  • Recommend corrective actions to operations and maintenance teams.
  • Maintain and update condition monitoring software and equipment databases.
  • Observe maintenance practices and suggest process improvements.
  • Support lubrication and reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in turnaround planning and emergency maintenance as needed.
  • Provide clear reports and documentation of findings to management.


Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification: Vibration Analyst Category I required; ability to obtain Category II within one year.
  • Experience: 5+ years in machinery vibration measurement and analysis in mechanical or process industries.
  • Strong understanding of machine vibration theory, fault diagnosis, and condition evaluation, including turbo machinery.
  • Experience operating vibration data collection/analysis equipment and software.
  • Ability to supervise contract vibration personnel.
  • Fluent in English with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
