POSITION SUMMARY:
The Instrumentation and Calibration Engineer has the responsibility for ensuring the site’s production instruments are operating at optimal levels and properly maintained to data collection in an FDA regulated environment. The position will be primarily responsible for ensuring all instruments are maintained in a calibrated state. Additionally, the Engineer will support general troubleshooting of production equipment/utilities, and asset management.
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Support the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program through the creation of new PM tasks, evaluation of existing PMs for technical relevance to current asset problems.
- Help create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment operation, engineering analyses, PM and calibration tasks, that adhere to FDA and cGMP requirements.
- Support the management of the calibrations on production instruments, such as temperature sensors (RTDs/resistance thermometers), pressure sensors (electronic manometers, gauges), and other transmitters.
- Support root cause investigations to a detailed level required for an FDA regulated/cGMP environment, and translate these root causes to effective CAPAs that mitigate equipment risk.
- Assesses and monitors equipment for reliability of operation implementing necessary improvements
- Maintains system classification of incoming equipment with the system owner. Duties may include assembly of supplier operating and maintenance manuals, installation and operational qualification.
- Translate data from Root Cause Centered Maintenance (RCCM) data to support Autonomous Maintenance program. Train Operations personnel in Autonomous Maintenance.
- Maintain calibration records, and qualification of calibration contractor.
- Manages risk to achieve organization's strategic objectives in areas of environmental health and safety, asset capability, quality, and production.
- Conducts risk analyses routinely when production equipment is functioning outside of expected parameters
- Develops Total Cost of Ownership, Mean Time to Failure, Life Cycle Cost, Mean Time to Repair, specific to critical equipment in the production areas.
- Runs process improvement projects from design thru implementation. Apply Root Cause Centered Maintenance (RCCM) to develop improved preventive maintenance tasks.
- Executes changes through to completion, from initiation of change controls to revising SWIs, coordinating work with Maintenance/Engineering, etc., to close out of CCs
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure that reliability is integrated into all aspects of the organization
- Participates in and execute qualification and validation of equipment and processes
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and 3 years of experience in a related or similar field, or
- Associate’s degree in an engineering or scientific discipline and at least 5 years of experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Support the execution of the Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation activities for our new Vial Filling system (e.g., washing/depyrogenation, aseptic filling, isolator/VPHP, glove integrity testers, environmental monitoring systems), including SAT, IQ/OQ, PQ, and Aseptic Process Simulation.
· Management of Equipment Vendors, including project execution, on-site maintenance and calibration visits, vendor-supplied training of operation and maintenance staff, management of continuous improvement projects, and spare parts criticality assessments.
· Responsible for delivering cycle development for the process including VPHP cycles for Isolator & transport systems, and preparation of required GMP documentation for filling process and recipes.
· Support the establishment of an electronic batch record system for filler and isolator setup, operation, and changeover.
· Support the transition from project to sustaining manufacturing and the ramp-up of production volumes in the future by improving equipment reliability through Continuous Improvement and TPM processes.
· Coordinate technical deliverables within the Aseptic Operations team to support successful process and product launches.
· Lead and participate in cross-functional groups to investigate and resolve technical issues, drive continuous improvement, and process optimization using tools such as DMAIC and FMEA.
· Manage change in the Vial Filling and/or Nest Filling areas as per site change control procedures.
· Participate in regulatory inspections e.g. FDA, DEA inspections as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Materials Science, Biology, or related discipline.
· Minimum 4+ years working in a cGMP environment, i.e. pharmaceutical.
· Exposure to parenteral processing equipment and operations, including formulation, filling, visual inspection, and packaging equipment.
· Front-line support of aseptic filling equipment and/or barrier systems, e.g. isolator or RABS.
· Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems and implement projects.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across various levels of the organization.
· Strong Mechanical Aptitude.
· Interact with other functions (e.g. Manufacturing, Automation, Quality Assurance, R&D) and must be able to take ownership of and follow through on assigned projects.
· Ability to execute on-the-floor activities such as FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ, and Engineering batches.

· Ability to explain complex technical issues to external customers/agencies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· SME-level knowledge of high-speed aseptic filling and barrier system technology (isolator, RABS).
· Expertise in single-use components in drug product formulation, sterile filtration, and aseptic filling applications.
· Demonstrated management and delivery of large capital projects ($1MM +).
· Experience with greenfield facility Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) and production startup desired.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Member Services Representatives (MSR) are the first point of contact for our members' primary contact with the Alliance for both routine and complex member issues with the goal of delivering excellent customer service to our customers. The position is responsible for answering a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner. Respond to all communications coming into Member Services in the form of email, fax, letters, chat and phone calls. Timely responses to all member communication are essential. Must effectively prioritize and flex the workload as new communication and tasks are submitted. Identify the caller's needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions and/or alternatives whenever possible. Accurately and consistently document all conversations in the electronic database. This position is a liaison between the plan, the provider network, and other community agencies. The MSR positions are flexibly staffed classification and work is expected to be performed minimally at the MRS II level. However, the initial selection will be made at the entry level MSR I. Our more advanced level position of the series is the MSR III who will be required to perform a variety of complex matters.
Member Services Representatives are under the direction of a Member Services Supervisor, Manager and Director, and service our members through our call center as well assisting other departments with responses to member issues by initiating communication between departments to ensure action, cooperation, and compliance of managed care operations.
Member Services Representative I
This position which requires the ability to work as a team player within the Alliance and with external contacts, make sound judgments based on analysis of information, be an effective communicator, active listener and balance advocacy for the member with the policy provisions such as plan policies, EOC, regulatory guidelines, and DMHC/DHCS rules and regulations. The MSR provides courteous, professional, and accurate responses to incoming inquiries regarding network, plan benefits, eligibility, authorizations, plan services and guidelines, as well make decisions with the goal of ensuring member satisfaction and retention. The MSR performs a variety of complex functions and is also responsible for maintaining accurate and complete inquiry/grievance records in the electronic database. Maintains compliance with DMHC regulatory requirements and DHCS contractual obligations. MSR I staff who demonstrate proficiency in meeting, maintaining and exceeding principal performance objectives and metrics may be eligible to be promoted to a Member Services II or III role. Member Services Representative I staff may be eligible for promotion to Member Services Representative II or III positions once they have worked as a MSR I for a minimum of 12 months to be proficient with program and system knowledge in addition to meeting performance matrix requirements.
Principle duties and responsibilities
* Serve as the primary contact for members, providers and others for questions related to claims, benefits, authorizations, pharmacy, member eligibility and other questions related to Alameda Alliance and provide accurate, satisfactory answers to their inquiries or concerns.
* Respond to and resolve member service inquiries and issues by identifying the topic and type of assistance the caller needs such as benefits, eligibility, claims, behavioral health, and care coordination.
* Answer incoming calls, emails, chats, and other requests for assistance in a timely manner in accordance with departmental performance targets and provide excellent customer service while doing so. May include assisting members in person.
* Recognize and understand the difference between calls that require quick resolutions and calls which will require follow-up and handle each appropriately.
* De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers, offering patient assistance and support.

* Interface with Grievance and Appeals, Claims, Enrollment, IT, Network Management, Pharmacy, Authorizations, and other internal departments to provide Service Excellence to our members.
* Help guide and educate members about the fundamentals and benefits of managed health care topics, to include managing their health and well-being by selecting the best benefit plan service options, maximizing the value of their health plan benefits, and choosing a quality care provider.
* Intercede with care providers (doctor's offices) on behalf of the member, assisting with appointment scheduling; connect members with internal Case Management Department for assistance as needed.
* Assist members in navigating , the Member Portal, and other health care partner online resources and websites to encourage/reassure them to use self- service tools that are available.
* Manage any issues through to resolution on behalf of the member, either on a single call or through comprehensive and timely follow-up.
* Research complex issues across multiple databases and work with support resources to resolve member issues and/or partner with others to resolve escalated issues.
* Provide education and status on previously submitted pre-authorizations or pre- determination requests for both medical and pharmaceutical benefits.
* Meet the performance goals established for the position in the areas of compliance, efficiency, call quality, member satisfaction, first call resolution, punctuality, and attendance.

The incumbent will support the following roles and responsibilities:
Description
- Provide real‐time phone support to address technical issues on training center flight simulators.
- Prepare the simulator for customer training, including performing pre‐flight tests.
- Execute recurring scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
- Perform aircraft validation tests (QTG) and create/restore system/computer disk backups.
- Diagnose and resolve complex simulator deficiencies in a timely manner.
- Identify and replace defective simulator components.
- Validate snag fixes directly on the simulator device.
- Maintain and document configuration control of both software and hardware elements.
- Work within C/Unix and Windows environments to step through code modules, identify root causes, and propose strong leads and hypotheses for resolution.
- Read and interpret electrical and electro‐mechanical drawings and design documents.
- Define technical problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Apply aircraft/systems knowledge to execute hands‐on fixes on Full Flight Simulators.
- Log all work regularly, objectively, and formally in a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Update technical documentation and procedures when required.
- Participate in technical training courses and on‐the‐job learning.
- Lead and execute projects to improve and ensure smooth operations of the training center.
Minimum Qualifications
- DEC in Electronic, Computer Science, Aircraft Maintenance, or equivalent.
- Related experience in software and electronic modification/manipulation.
- Knowledge of Windows, Unix, C, C++, and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with basic electronic theory, principles, and electronic testing equipment.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in French and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of CAE software and applications (CAELIB, STARTEAM, visual systems, SIM XXI architecture).
- Understanding of hardware/software interactions as they relate to aviation simulation.
- Aeronautical knowledge, including avionics, flight dynamics, aircraft systems, and simulated systems experience.

The Advanced Effector Guidance Systems (AEGS) Department within Raytheon Hardware Engineering provides Electrical Systems Engineering to develop Electronic Systems solutions for products across the Raytheon portfolio. Our core electrical engineering responsibilities include architecture, requirements, integration, and test. Our core electrical engineering technologies include RF/RADAR, Navigation/IMU/GPS, Data Link/Communication, Digital, and Power. We partner with several Electrical Product Team departments that provide the detailed design of our electrical products as well as systems teams.
The AEGS Department is searching for an Electrical Subsystems Guidance Section (GS) Lead with experience leading a multi-disciplinary system design and integration team. The role of the GS Lead is to lead a cross-functional and cross-discipline team of engineers through the design cycle for development and integration of a guidance section. This role will include Control Account Management (CAM) responsibilities so Earned Value (EV) certification is required.
What You Will Do
Responsible for Technical, Cost, and Schedule Execution.
Be responsible for the technical integrity of the GS, including the Technical Data Package (TDP) development, validation, and integration
Manage costs and schedule for GS design, verification, and hardware procurement
Manage the technical risk for the GS
Technical oversight of GS failure investigations
Support component level design and test reviews
Work environment is primarily in an office, but may include labs, field work, or a combination.
Assignments may include guiding a team through several phases of hardware systems lifecycle such as designs and analysis; architecting new electronic systems; developing and documenting subsystem requirements and test plans; peer reviews of designs as a subject matter expert; presentations to peers, management, and government customers; and root-cause failure investigations.

Electrical subsystems typically contain antennas, analog RF circuit cards, digital circuit cards, and configurable logic so the ideal candidate will have a background in designing and troubleshooting of one or more of these components. Ideal candidates will also have experience in project leadership, systems engineering and architecture and have a desire to grow to a higher level.
Able to network / influence outside of the AEGS Department with other design and production support organizations, program leadership, other engineering disciplines and Manufacturing organizations.
