Position summary:

Tasks:

• Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment following electrical code and blueprints, using hand tools and voltage tester.

Physical Requirements:

The employee must have a telephone. The employee is expected to work overtime in order to maintain the plant in a safe and productive state. The employee is expected to make call outs when such work is available and the employee’s services are needed.

The employee must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and have permission prior to operating any TIG vehicle. The requirements for operating a company vehicle are as follows: In the past three (3) years the employee can have had only 4 moving violations, no more than 2 chargeable accidents, and no D.W.I.

• Physically build deliverable sensor systems: assemble mechanical components, solder electronic components, apply coatings to printed circuit boards, install printed circuit boards into sensor housings, precisely cut and strip wiring, mount fasteners, fasten and/or seal electro-mechanical assemblies by applying various bonding and/or sealing agents
• Perform final machining, cutting, or bonding operations on components such as sensor housing, sense elements, fine wires, etc.
• Assemble wiring harnesses and terminate connectors

• Direct supervision of Production Process and Personnel
• Administrative responsibilities for Production personnel, including timekeeping, progress review, and corrective counseling
• Monitor, evaluate and interpret data to ensure process integrity and specification compliance
• Monitor and control operation of Production Equipment
• Compile and enter production data records
• Train and develop production staff regarding policies, procedures, and related responsibilities
• Provide accurate and specific data and input to production support departments and personnel
• Meet with scheduling, engineering, and other support departments as needed

What you will bring along:

• B.S. degree or HS diploma with applicable job-related training and experience preferred
• Minimum 3-years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or related production area
• Strong technical background in related production equipment operations
• Safety and Hazardous Materials Awareness training preferred

Pay Range:

$75-80k annually
