Role Summary
The Sr Mechanical Superintendent leads field execution of mechanical scope on mission-critical data center projects. This role owns day-to-day onsite leadership for mechanical activities: safety, subcontractor coordination, installation quality, schedule adherence, testing readiness, and turnover support. The Mechanical Superintendent ensures systems are installed correctly, documented properly, and turned over in a manner that supports successful startup, commissioning, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
Safety & Field Leadership (Primary)
- Lead mechanical field operations while reinforcing a zero-incident culture.

Role Overview
We are seeking two highly skilled Mechanical Engineers with experience in the Aerospace & Defense sector to support the development and integration of advanced thermal management subsystems used across military and commercial platforms globally.
This role focuses on mechanical subsystem development from a packaging and integration perspective, including enclosure design and integration of electronic and fluid control components such as pumps, compressors, fans, and valves. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing aerospace-grade subsystems within defined volume and interface constraints, ensuring high reliability, environmental robustness, and compliance with industry standards.
These roles will support programs progressing from Preliminary Design Review (PDR) toward Critical Design Review (CDR) and will involve reuse and adaptation of existing product architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical enclosures for aerospace electronic and control subsystems such as thermal management systems and related subsystems
- Package and integrate COTS and custom components into customer-defined volume constraints by integrating components including pumps, compressors, fans, valves, and control electronics

Position Overview
The Mechanical Preconstruction Leader is responsible for leading all mechanical estimating and planning activities during the preconstruction phase of commercial and industrial projects. Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Mechanisms/Test
Castelion is seeking an expert in the manufacture and design of complex mechanisms for our in-house hypersonic vehicle development. This role will work closely with design engineering and technician teams to build and execute on testing and validation efforts to keep pace with the research and development timetable of our products. You will be apart of a team responsible for serving as a critical node in implementing feedback from testing and validation efforts, streamlining designs and implementing manufacturing changes to quickly mature our products for flight testing and production. Desire for product and process ownership is a must in this role.
Responsibilities
- Work with component design engineering teams to determine the manufacturing and testing feasibility of products
- Operate as a standalone resource responsible for a family of mechanisms
- Architect, mature and develop testing and validation procedures for a wide array of complex mechanisms
- Generate concept proposals in alignment with R&D efforts to help attribute requirements gathering
- Down select solutions generated based on quantifiable vehicle attributes, system cost and weight
- Propose and defend solutions in engineering review meetings
- Develop and refine process documentation including build instructions, test and validation procedures, health and safety standards, and mBOMs
- Create, maintain, and communicate detailed production plans and schedules
- Work closely with supply chain to develop new and existing suppliers as needed
- Design, develop and implement production tooling and equipment
- Participate in design reviews to drive design for manufacturing (DFM)

ROLE SUMMARY
The Mechanical Estimator will complete increasingly complex mechanical and field construction activities.
