Responsible and accountable for delivery and implementation of the Cushman & Wakefield (CW) US Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Strategy for the Americas. Under the stewardship of the Head of EHS Americas the role will deliver measurable improvements in health, safety and environmental performance and engagement across the C&W organization, in support of business objectives. The role will specifically support Americas corporate offices, brokerage and Project & Development Service (PDS) lines across the Americas. The role will also support on Security and Quality matters in support of the wider global EHS Team. This is a senior corporate role which will directly report to the Head of EHS Americas and indirectly report to business unit heads within the relevant jurisdictions and service lines. The role will require an experienced professional who has held a similar role in a related industry and who is comfortable and confident in working and presenting at a senior level. The individual will be commercially aware and fully accountable for delivering the Americas EHS Strategy as this relates to applicable countries and service lines while reporting successes to their stakeholder groups across the region.
This senior EHS management role will be responsible for identifying areas of potential organizational risk and developing robust EHS mitigation controls, policies, procedures, and guidance in accordance with the C&W Americas EHS strategy and local legislation. The role will be responsible for coordinating both internal and external resources across the region in order to manage legal compliance and enhance organizational safety culture. In doing so the role will work closely with the global specialist resources within the wider EHS Team.
The role will work across all departments and therefore senior stakeholder engagement will be critical to the candidate's success and the candidate must have demonstrable experience in developing successful senior stakeholder relationships and influencing change and process / culture improvement. The candidate must be a self-starter and able to demonstrate the delivery of organizational change through both face to face engagement and the use of remote working tools e.g. Microsoft Teams.
Critical relationships will include the following:
- Heads of higher risk service lines such as PDS within the relevant jurisdictions
- Jurisdictional business unit heads
- Operational leads for service lines and jurisdictions

As a minimum the candidate will therefore require a proven track record in health and safety management, in order to be successful. The successful candidate will support the Head of EHS Americas to champion the ongoing improvement of C&W's safety and environmental management systems relating both to our service delivery to clients and in relation to the health and safety of Cushman & Wakefield employees. The candidate will need to have proven experience in developing and implementing initiatives to improve EHS compliance and awareness and will be responsible for:
- Developing, implementing and delivering appropriate objectives, targets and improvement programs for the Americas in association with the Head of EHS Americas.
- Monitoring and reporting on EHS performance and progress against EHS objectives to local leadership teams.
- Ensuring that our corporate offices are safe and secure and putting in place management arrangements to ensure a consistent level of safe operation.
- Managing critical, complex and contentious health and safety issues as these arise and dealing with them in a professional manner.
- Managing and developing appropriate EHS training programs, methods of delivery and evaluation of effectiveness to ensure employees are competent with regard to their health and safety duties.
- Developing appropriate arrangements to ensure that risks from contractors and third party suppliers are vetted, managed, and effectively controlled.
- Providing support and technical advice to senior operational managers to enable them to undertake their roles and responsibilities for health, safety, and the environment within their particular areas of the business.
- Working closely with business development teams to support operational growth in line with business objectives.
- Monitoring changes in legislation and best practice to ensure continuing legal compliance and best practice throughout the region.
- Dealing with incidents and advising on next steps. Undertaking investigations of serious incidents and accidents that address incident circumstances, incident causation and consider improvements that could be made for the future.
- Liaising with external enforcement bodies and insurers as well as clients in order to satisfy key stakeholder requirements.
- Supporting the Head of EHS Americas and relevant global specialist leads to develop, implement, and maintain ISO certified management systems across the region as required.
Educated to degree level in Occupational Health and Safety or an equivalent discipline, the successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of developing, implementing, and refining models of health, safety, and environmental management in accordance with the requirements of international standards. Senior membership of recognized EHS trade associations / bodies. Experience of working in a multi-site environment in the facilities, retail, property or service delivery sector preferable. The successful candidate will likely currently report to senior stakeholders and will have a proven track record of working independently to influence senior stakeholders. Description
The Environmental Health & Safety Manager (EHS) is responsible to ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations, the physical security of all company locations, and to assist individuals to be in compliance. This position is responsible for ensuring company is in compliance with all agencies (DOT, OSHA, NFPA, and EPA) regulations, training, and any other requirements by such agencies, our insurance companies, and company requirements. The EHS Manager will serve as a subject matter expert on all safety, compliance, regulatory and related insurance requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Serve on local safety committees; review and discus safety needs, provide updates, training, DOT, Hazmat, OSHA and related safety and compliance information.

Cost Management:

· Owner of continuous cost reductions for facilities operations including utilities, maintenance and consumables.

Forecast Development and Accuracy:
· Prepare timely forecasts for the department.
· Compare forward forecast results to historical actual results for trend assessment and analysis.

TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
· Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and cost conscious management.
· Facility management and maintenance including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, environmental and janitorial disciplines.
· Maintain the positive image of our facilities and grounds for our customers, our employees and our stakeholders.
· Establish, maintain and improve our total productive maintenance program for asset management centered on CMMS.
· Project management execution in a cross functional environment with multiple customers and direct conflicts.
· Establish new measurement systems if/where possible.
· When possible and/or practical, exchange knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Jabil organization.
· Assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant.
· Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices and processes that are “best in field.”
· Organize the Environmental, Health, And Safety (EHS) activities in support of Industry Standards / Certifications and regulatory compliance.

This is a field-driven leadership role on an active utility-scale solar construction project. The right candidate is not a clipboard-only administrator; this is a hands-on EHS leader who understands heavy civil activity, production schedules, and renewable energy buildouts.
Project Overview
Scope includes:
- Collection system installation

This role will lead site-level EHS execution across multiple active scopes in a fast-moving renewable construction environment.
Position Summary
The Site EHS Manager will serve as the on-site safety authority and strategic partner to project leadership. This individual will drive hazard recognition, enforce safe work practices, coach field supervision, and maintain compliance while supporting schedule execution.
You must be comfortable operating in high-visibility, owner-driven environments where expectations are elevated, and documentation standards are high.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead daily field safety presence across active scopes
- Conduct site walks, hazard recognition, and corrective action follow-up
- Oversee JHA/JSA development and field-level implementation
- Interface with owner representatives and project leadership
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, client, and site-specific requirements
- Investigating incidents and near misses with root cause discipline
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Mentor foremen and superintendents on safe execution strategies
- Maintain required safety documentation and reporting
Required Qualifications
- OSHA 30 (Required)
- 10+ years of construction safety experience
- 5+ years of safety experience in renewable energy projects
- One of the following:
- CSP certification
- CHST certification
- EHS-related bachelor’s degree
Owner-Specific Qualification Requirements
The Site EHS Manager must meet at least two (2) of the following criteria:
- OSHA 500 training (510 + 4 year’s experience or equivalent)
- Current CHST certification
- Current CSP certification
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of EHS experience
- EHS-related degree from an accredited institution
- 10 years of experience as an EHS Supervisor or Manager
This is a high-bar role aligned with owner standards. Candidates must clearly demonstrate depth of leadership and technical capability.
