The Content Understanding team builds machine learning models that "read" Pinterest content-images, text, and video-to produce high-quality semantic signals (e.g., embeddings, localization, quality/safety labels). These signals power relevance and retrieval for Homefeed, Search, Related Pins, and Ads, and also support integrity use cases like spam and low-quality detection. We work end-to-end: from data and labeling strategy, to model training and evaluation, to low-latency serving and monitoring at Pinterest scale. The role is ideal for a senior modeler who also enjoys developing, productionizing models and leading technical direction across teams.

What you'll do:

• Lead modeling strategy for content understanding (vision, NLP, multimodal), including architecture selection, training approach, and evaluation methodology.

What we're looking for:

In this role you will:

Glassware Washing & Laboratory Support

• Perform routine washing, drying, and sterilization of laboratory glassware following established SOPs.

• Inspect glassware for cleanliness, damage, or wear and remove items that do not meet quality standards.

Quality Assurance: Product Inspector (Produce) track:

This internship goes beyond a typical desk job, you’ll be immersed in the core of our supply chain operations. The QA (Produce) Intern plays a hands-on role in inspecting fresh produce and other perishable items to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with Wakefern standards. This position involves physically examining inbound deliveries for grade, freshness, proper labeling, and packaging integrity, as well as monitoring temperatures and verifying weights and counts. Interns will gain first-hand experience with Wakefern’s Food Safety and Quality Practices, USDA and FDA guidelines. Interns will be learning leadership skills mentored by supervisors to understand all skills required in a Quality Assurance Product Inspection department.

What you will do

• Work in a refrigerated warehouse environment.
• Inspects all inbound deliveries to ensure the purchased goods conform to all established product specifications, standards, and grade requirements.
• Performs random organoleptic inspections of inbound goods to assure the quality, grade, and wholesomeness of the product.
• Inspects all inbound deliveries for cleanliness and soundness of the transportation vehicle and the absence of cross contamination.
• Monitors product temperatures by means of physical probing of goods and observation of time and temperature recording devices.
• Verifies the weights and counts of received goods.
• Examines all packaging for proper labeling and enforces all packaging and labeling requirements of the FDA, USDA, and USDC.
• Monitors products in inventory and storage for quality and safety.
• Performs daily sanitation inspections of all applicable facilities and warehouses.

US Farathane Orion is seeking a full-time Shipping & Receiving Clerk on our 1st and 3rd shift.

Shipping/Receiving Clerk assures the shipment of parts in an orderly fashion, so the shipments arrive on time and in good condition according to customer demands.

• All cartons containing parts are to be stored/shipped in good condition.
• Parts are to be prepared for shipment per the shipping schedule using FIFO and according to the individual customer packaging instructions. If parts are not available for shipment at the designated time, it must be brought to the immediate attention of the Warehouse Supervisor/Shipping & Receiving Supervisor.
• Transfer parts from warehouse to shipment staging. Ensure parts are scanned, wrapped and have master labels. Check dock codes as required per customer.
• All shipments are to be completed on a timely basis to ensure availability of commercial transport.
• Process shipments through the system to ensure timely advance shipping notification and record keeping.
• Once an ASN has been started, you must monitor the process until completion to ensure that no errors have occurred during the transmission.
• Scan labels for shipment.
• Review shippers. Verify through computer with pick list.
• Follow and enforce safety standards for the operation of the forklift trucks.
• Load/unload trucks, driving hilo's in a safe manner by maintaining safe driving speeds, having an acute awareness of all surroundings, stopping at all cross aisles.
• Anytime the larger returnables are stacked for transport from the production floor to the warehouse they are to be transported immediately and not left stacked unattended for any period of time.
• Verify quantities on incoming shipments. Acknowledge receipts with signature and date received. Complete packing list if none is included with shipment. Complete log-In sheet.
• Ensure dock lock procedure is followed.
• Ensure that the procedure is being followed for the Key Surrender Board and tires are chocked.
• Ensure CTPAT procedure is followed.
• Drive company vehicle required for pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain lot number identification for customers requiring same.
• Label parts and shipments as directed by the shipping schedule.
• Repack, re label and re wrap as necessary
• Retrieve finished inventory that is put on hold. Re wrap and put away when released from hold. Arrange in orderly manner for Quality to sort.
• Replace racking, decking, nuts, and bolts as necessary.
• Keep counts on skids and returnables.

Onsite Role

Responsibilities:

• Inspects incoming product (components, subassemblies, labeling, finished goods) in accordance with internal facility standard operating procedures/work instructions or Part/Product Specifications.
• Inspects client manufactured, packaged, and labeled product in accordance with internal facility standard operating procedures/work instructions or Product Specifications.
• Follow documented procedures or test procedures to evaluate identified characteristics for conformance to product specifications via visual inspections (aided or unaided eye), functional testing, or physical testing via visual measurement system or Instron tensile equipment.
• Maintains accurate, legible, and organized records of performed inspections in compliance with Good Documentation Practices and properly prepares / reviews inspection paperwork.
• Prepares nonconformance documentation (where appropriate).
• Following Component Specification/Inspection Requirements appropriately determine sample size via statistical sampling plan (ASQ Z1.4 or C=0 plans); properly samples product in accordance with procedures/ specifications.
• Properly identifies and segregates product as to its inspection status (Pending, Reject, Accept etc.).
• Promote and adhere to Good Manufacturing and Documentation Practices (cGMP cGDP), and other applicable standards.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma with relevant work experience (Associate's degree or higher preferred)
• Must have 1 or more years’ experience in medical device manufacturing QA/QC: inspection and/or verification of incoming materials, production samples, packaging samples, and/or labeling samples.
• Ability to use common measurement equipment (e.g., pin gauges, calipers, micrometers, visual measurement systems, steel rulers, and Instron tensile testing equipment).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/specs and capable of distinguishing between colors (component distinction and printed labeling).
• Experience working in both English and Metric systems of units.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office applications and electronic documentation systems.
