The Pediatric NP Provider Hospice/Palliative Care has two primary responsibilities.

  • Provide NP-appropriate service to patients enrolled in hospice and may also assist in staffing pediatric palliative care consultation services that function as a program of MJHS Hospice and Palliative Care
  • Work in the community environment, and may, on occasion, provide consultation in the long-term care environment or hospital.
  • In all settings, provide in-person visits or telehealth visits, as appropriate.
  • Providing comfort care consistent with best practices, including history-taking, appropriate examination, formulation and care planning, treatment recommendation or implementation, communication, and documentation
  • In the role as hospice NP, you will coordinate with the team physician and manager and will be responsible for face-to-face evaluations for hospice eligibility, and the assessment and management of hospice patients in need of exigent medical care
  • Contribute to the training of the hospice team, providing support for the interdisciplinary team, as needed
  • Help build a teaching curriculum on pediatric aspects of hospice care that will be of use to our hospice workers who are engaged in pediatric care through cross coverage for when young adolescents are incorporated into adult hospice teams
  • In providing both direct care and support to other clinicians, the NP will use an evidence-based approach to management and to the use of materials and policies/procedures
  • Other activities related to quality improvement projects may also be required, as appropriate

JOB DESCRIPTION


We are seeking a dedicated and talented individual to serve as a Civic Engagement Associate. The Civic Engagement Associate will work to empower the Korean and wider Asian American community in Northern New Jersey through voter engagement, organizing, education and advocacy around voting and immigrant rights.


Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Plan and execute educational workshops and community outreach events.
  • Help coordinate voter outreach and educational activities, including developing bilingual educational materials, door-to-door canvassing, and executing voter registration and engagement efforts.
  • Build relationships with other organizations and coalitions and coordinate Citywide and Statewide immigration advocacy for community members.
  • Research and maintain up to date information on key community issues and immigration policies.
  • Input and maintain data on organizing and civic engagement activities in MinKwon database.
  • Represent MinKwon in coalition spaces and in meetings with other external partners such as government agencies, elected officials, and funders.
  • Work closely with communications staff to plan media activities that raise awareness of our campaigns and activities through mainstream and ethnic press, and to develop external communications materials such as factsheets and pamphlets.
  • Support the development staff with timely reports, data, and other grant management needs related to the activities of the New Jersey site.
  • Support the work of the other New Jersey programs as needed.
  • Participate in organization-wide events, campaigns, and initiatives as appropriate.


QUALIFICATIONS


The minimum required qualifications for this position include the following:

  • Experience in grassroots community organizing and/or community outreach.
  • Spoken and written fluency in Korean.
  • Flexibility in working evenings, weekends, and outside normal office hours.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with an openness to public speaking.

The role will follow Tableau best practices for visualization design, naming conventions, and documentation while also maintaining version control and promoting content across environments (Dev / Test / Prod) On Tableau Cloud.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that clearly communicate key business metrics and trends.
  • Translate business requirements into effective data visualizations using best practices in visual analytics.
  • Optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Connect Tableau to multiple data sources (e.g., SQL databases, data warehouses, cloud platforms, Excel, APIs).
  • Create and maintain data models, joins, calculations, parameters, and filters.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand reporting needs.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Conduct user training and enablement sessions when needed.
  • Monitor dashboard usage and performance.
  • Troubleshoot data issues, refresh failures, and user access problems.
  • Enhance and maintain existing dashboards as business needs evolve.


You'll Need To Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Tableau development experience.
  • Solid understanding of SQL for data querying and validation.
  • Experience working with relational databases and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Strong knowledge of calculated fields, LOD expressions, table calculations, and parameters.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret data and explain insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding data modeling concepts (facts, dimensions, star schema).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.


We'd Love To See:

  • Experience with Tableau Cloud administration.
  • Knowledge of ETL tools like Talend or AWS Glue.
  • Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  • Tableau certification (Desktop Specialist, Certified Data Analyst, etc.).
