Job Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM)
- Completed Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship

- BLS certification required

- Submission of a Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of application
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in maternal-fetal medicine, high-risk obstetrics, or perinatal medicine
Responsibilities
- Provide office and inpatient coverage for high-risk pregnancies (estimated 95% of practice) — prenatal diagnosis, fetal surveillance, and perinatal management
- Perform procedures including amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling (CVS), and cerclage (preferred)
- Manage conditions such as pre-eclampsia, multiple gestation, fetal growth restriction, chromosomal and congenital abnormalities, preterm labor, maternal hypertension, thrombophilia, genetic disorders, and birth defects
- Participate in vaginal and cesarean birth planning and co-management for complex maternal–fetal cases
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary perinatal team including another MFM physician, nurse practitioner, sonographer, genetic counselor, and neonatology (Level III nursery)
- Document patient care using EPIC and Viewpoint EMR systems and maintain accurate clinical records
- Provide weekday and weekend call coverage as scheduled; coordinate handoffs and consults with hospital teams
- No supervision of other healthcare providers required — independent practice as an MFM specialist
