As a Forensic Analyst, you are responsible for managing and conducting investigations related to data collections, forensic data, file, email analysis and data recovery within a wide variety of dynamic environments. You will work with internal and external clients in a consulting and advisory capacity to establish their requirements for the collection, processing and reporting of data. Providing consultancy on data collection and investigations will be a key aspect of the role and as such you will carry out full forensic analysis from collection through to analysis and reporting using tools such as EnCase, FTK, XWays, Axiom, Cellebrite or NUIX. The role will also include providing technical advice to Sales and Business Development Staff. This will involve joint consultancy in the scoping phase of projects.

Remote, work from home opportunity, weekly travel to Dallas (candidates must be based around this area).

Responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university or a technical school certificate in science related areas and 3+ yrs. relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Consult with key stakeholders to gather requirements, scope the project and provide consulting solutions for proper data collection, investigations and reporting. Work with the project team determine and execute established computer forensic protocol, processes and chain of custody as required per investigation/engagement. Compose reports, affidavits, and depositions and participate in court testimony as needed.
• Conduct or assist with forensic acquisition and preservation of electronic data from a wide range of information technology environments and platforms including social media and mobile devices. Participate in on-site and remote imaging and data captures. Coordinate and track all electronic collection activities, maintain chain of custody and project lifecycle documentation to ensure computer forensic protocols are met.
• Provide full Computer Forensic analysis of data using established tools and techniques. Perform analytical analysis focused on datasets such as computer operating system logs, pen trap, hard drives, mobile phones, log-ins and activities connections. Use network theory and data mining concepts to reveal relationships, patterns trends and statistics, link analysis, time line analysis and data visualization techniques. Meet expected timelines for customer output and reports, based upon findings per customer objectives. Follow accepted forensic protocol to capture media images and conduct analysis needed to provide output and reports to meet customer objectives within the expected timelines.
• Provide effective professional communication with customers through all forms of communication including direct contact, voice, e-mail, fax, etc, while demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate in a fluent, comprehensive and professional manner
• Provide a high level of customer service and technical support as needed or required. Assist case managers with customer conference calls and questions, and help answer customer questions about reports and accessing output data that has been provided to them
• Learn the proper methods and techniques used for conducting forensic investigations. Show the ability to learn and understand the advanced skills necessary to conduct larger scale computer forensic investigations
• This role may require the individual to be part of an on-call program which may require 24/7 availability from time to time as needed
• Long hours and shift work are a requirement to meet the deadlines of CF projects
• Additional responsibilities may include documentation and training of learned knowledge to engineers and/or sales teams, or temporary departmental work as needed

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with laptops, desktops, etc.
• Understanding of Network Architectures
• KLDiscovery Ontrack proprietary Data Recovery Tool knowledge and/or experience. For new (external) candidates, this knowledge and experience will be gained through training after hire. Candidate must achieve at least a basic proficiency level with certain tools.

General description

Facilitates communication between students who are deaf or hard of hearing and teachers, staff members, and peers within an educational environment, using a variety of manual and verbal communication systems in a highly proficient manner reflecting the affect of the speaker and/or signer. The Interpreter for Deaf/Hard of Hearing facilitates communication through the use of sign-to English and English-to-sign skills. This position requires course work, Level 4 certification, and competency using manual sign systems.

• Interprets for students who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH) in a variety of educational settings, including, but not limited to, classroom environments, assemblies, recess, noon sport leagues, and counseling sessions using various sign language systems and voice interpretation at a normal conversational rate
• Interprets a wide range of curriculum, including scientific and advanced placement topics
• Consults with the teachers of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing, general education staff and typical students on the effective use of an interpreter
• Provides voice interpretation to individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing as needed
• Collaborates with IEP teams to standardize signs in an educational setting
• Under the direction of the teacher of the deaf or hard of hearing, performs record keeping, monitoring IEP or special education related activities that support student learning

Education: Possession of an associate's degree in American Sign Language Interpreting, Deaf Studies, Deaf Education or related field is preferred.

• Specialized knowledge of expressive and receptive forms of sign language systems, which may include American Sign Language, Conceptually Accurate Signed English, Signed Exact English, Manually Coded English, and Pidgin Signed English

• Demonstrate sensitivity to the communication process between persons who are deaf or hard of hearing and the needs of the persons involved in that process
• Well-developed arm, hand, and finger dexterity in order to perform advanced sign language interpretation for up to twenty-five hours per week
• Visual acuity to see information to be voiced (such as sign language and facial expressions) and detect speech patterns
• Hearing acuity sufficient to understand information to be interpreted in a variety of educational environments
• Facial dexterity to produce readable mouth movements for specific sign language expressions
• Sufficient manual dexterity to produce readable sign language through movement of fingers and arms
• Perform all aspects of the position

Licenses and certificates

To qualify for the certified Interpreter, applicant must possess one of the following certifications:

• Educational Interpreter Performance Evaluation (EIPA), level 4 or above
• Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID)
• American Consortium of Certified Interpreters (ACC1), level 4 or above
• NAD certification, level 4 or above
• Educational Signs Skills Evaluation Interpreter (ESSE-1), level 4 or above

Interpreters who have not yet obtained the required certification must be eligible for a certification waiver from the California Department of Education and must fulfill one of the following requirements in order to be placed on the eligibility list:

• provide proof of having taken one of the certification exams listed above, along with the score achieved

Essential Functions

Patient Care

• 
  
• Conduct evaluations and assess the home environment to determine equipment and speech/language needs.
  
• Identify functional speech and communication deficits; establish an individualized plan of care to improve or maintain essential function.
  
• Administer speech therapy programs using specialized techniques and equipment.
  
• Recommend communication devices or assistive aides as needed.
  
• Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and agency personnel on treatment plans, communication strategies, and safe care techniques.
  
• Collaborate closely with referring physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
  

Communication & Documentation

• 
  
• Prepare and submit clinical notes in alignment with organizational policy.
  
• Communicate ongoing patient needs, changes, and progress to physicians, caregivers, and team members.
  
• Participate in interdisciplinary group (IDG) meetings, in-services, and other required team activities to support holistic care planning.
  

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintain clinical competency through continued education and adherence to current SLP practices and theory.
  
• Participate in peer consultation, orientation of hospice personnel, and quality performance improvement activities.
  
• When appropriate, supervise hospice aides performing tasks related to speech-language therapy.
  
• Perform other duties necessary to support effective delivery of SLP services.
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved program, including required internship.
  
• Meets education and experience requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  
• Certified and licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of practice.
  
• Current CPR certification.
  
• Licensed driver with an insured, reliable automobile meeting organizational requirements.
  
• Minimum of one year of clinical SLP experience.
  
• Understanding of hospice philosophy and comfort-focused care.

A licensed and Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide therapeutic programs to pediatric patients with cognitive, physical, and sensory disabilities or delays in the home and community setting. The SLP plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans to restore or maintain patient well-being. Provides interventions for deficits and elicits responses. Participates in the coordination of care. 

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates patients with physical, psycho-social and/or cognitive impairments to determine if speech therapy can benefit the patient’s quality of life.
  
• Provides supervision to Speech Language Pathologist Assistants and Clinical Fellowship, when applicable, in the performance of patient care that is consistent with the patient’s needs.
  
• Develops and evaluates the plan of care in partnership with the physician and caregiver.
  
• Coordinates care and documents coordination with all physicians and other health care clinicians involved in the care of the patient as needed and appropriate.
  
• Provides therapeutic treatments for speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders with appropriate tests and measurements. Provides services that are ordered by the physician as indicated in the plan of care.
  
• Documents, prepares, and completes clinical notes, verbal orders and other clinical record documentation on an ongoing basis and in a timely manner
  

Qualifications:

• Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology
  
• Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited university
  
• Prefer one year experience in acute care, rehabilitation setting, or home health.

School districts vary with respect to requiring SLPs to complete speech and related evaluations:

1. SLPs must collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to gain an understanding of students’ strengths, interests, and needs with respect to speech and language services. 
2. Depending upon the school district, SLPs should be able to utilize a variety of evaluation tools to assess students’ speech or language needs and help determine if they are eligible for special education services. 
3. SLPs will propose relevant IEP goals to students’ interdisciplinary teams and work throughout the year to help students achieve their goals. 
4. SLPs will need to collect and summarize data on students’ progress, and draft progress reports as per district schedules.
5. In addition to collaborating with teachers and parents, SLPs will need to work closely with other professionals such as school psychologists, behavior analysts, and mental health therapists. 
6. SLPs will often need to support students’ use of high, and low-tech AAC systems. 
7. Relatedly, experience with the SETT framework is desirable, as SLPs will often serve as a primary resource for SETT evaluators.   
8. Experience with RTI and MTSS is desirable, as schools place high value on the insights SLPs can offer child study teams.
9. Experience with or the ability to develop and coordinate therapy schedules to ensure students receive all services identified in their IEPs is essential.
10. Experience with feeding and swallowing evaluations and interventions is a bonus.

Additional Job Functions

• Review/discuss caseload with Aveanna’s Clinical Director at least once a month.
• Assists and guide teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language impairments.
• Provide screenings to identify students who require speech and/or language interventions and/or referral for formal assessment.
• Provides information and support to parents and families when appropriate.
• Provide a written evaluation defining Speech Therapy needs, goals and expected outcomes.
• Serves as a resource consultant for clinical staff.

Requirements

• Masters’ Degree from accredited university or program in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current and unrestricted SLP license to practice in the state of practice (not under investigation for anything that may jeopardize one’s license).
• Additional requirements vary by state and district (e.g., First Aid, CPR certification, mandated reporter training, child abuse clearances, criminal history background checks).
• Continuing Education as required by state and/or licensing/regulatory bodies.
