Role: Senior Controls Engineer

- Controls Engineer Skills:
- One needs experience programming PLCs to support Material Handling Equipment (i.e., conveyors, sorters, automated storage and retrieval systems, order picking technologies, and print/apply and weighing systems) operations within a distribution center. Also understanding equipment requirements, business and customer requirements that drive the design of the technical solutions.
- It’s definitely not general material handling or general warehouse distribution knowledge. One must use Ladder Logic Programming skills to develop PLC software for complex machines and systems via communications interface to external systems such as servers, scanners, scales, etc.
- The Senior Controls Engineer & Mid-Controls Engineer level program all the time. When they are in the office creating programs for a project, it is strictly all programming. When they are at the job site commissioning the system, it is a mix of troubleshooting and changing the programs as necessary. They do need to know how to program from scratch. We exclusively use Allen Bradley (Rockwell) PLC’s and Studio 5000 software.
- MAS provides server-based software and electrical controls to manage & control automated distribution systems for the warehousing industry. Utilizing conveyor systems along with other automation hardware, MAS provides solutions which optimize unloading, receipt of product, flow, storage, retrieval, picking, sorting, order processing, packaging, labeling and shipment of inventory—then properly integrate those processes to customer’s computer systems (WMS, WES, ERP, etc.).
- These solutions are utilized by numerous major retailers through the United States for their store and direct to consumer (.com) order fulfillment. Some clients include Macy’s, Ebay, Gap, GEODIS, Hot Topic, Limited Brands (Bath and Body Works, Victoria’s Secret, etc.), DSW Shoes, Skechers, Costco, Cabberras, etc.

We are looking for a Head of Product for our AI financial assistant for the workplace, , designed to provide personalized financial and benefits guidance for employees and growth for advisors. You will bridge the gap between creative vision and business impact, shepherding new ideas from the “what if” phase to final pixel-perfect execution. You will be responsible for defining the guidelines, setting the quality bar, and pioneering new techniques while surpassing client expectations.
In this key role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing 2D animation, UI motion, and motion graphics. This is a multidisciplinary role that also includes storyboarding and video editing. You will leverage your technical skills to produce engaging content for marketing, product, and internal communication. Requiring a blend of creative vision, technical proficiency, and a collaborative spirit.
SF Candidate must have the ability to commute and work in the client’s San Francisco office 2-3 times a week.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Conceptualize, design, and create high-quality motion graphics, UI motion, animated sequences, and visual effects for video and digital content.
- Develop storyboards, style frames, and mood boards to communicate visual ideas.
- Ensure all animated content is on-brand, meets project objectives, and adheres to technical specifications.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to understand project goals and deliver creative solutions.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to elevate overall video production quality.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting deadlines.
- Maintain an organized system for project files, assets, and templates.
- Stay current with industry trends, software, and tools to improve the quality and efficiency of motion design work continually.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Motion Designer, Animator, or similar role.
- A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing outstanding motion design, animation skills, and a solid understanding of design principles (typography, color, layout).
- Expert knowledge of Figma and Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Film, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

The Role
We are seeking a visionary Director, Creative who thinks beyond the screen and understands the power of physical environments, including retail. In this role, you will be the architect of our clients’ brand’s physical presence, tasked with pushing creative boundaries both expressively and graphically.
You will not just design stores; you will build flexible systems that breathe life into our clients’ brand. We need a leader who can guide a team through the full creative spectrum, iterating from “mild to wild” to discover the perfect balance between avant-garde storytelling and practical producibility.
In this role, you will lead a cross‑functional team to deliver distinct brand experiences and ensure brand content and campaign messaging are consistent and cohesive across all touchpoints. Additionally, you will join an embedded team, working onsite with the client weekly to oversee launches and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Closely collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of talented people across the agency and projects.
- Lead the creative team in rigorous conceptual exploration grounded in our ability to deliver. You must be comfortable driving the work from safe, foundational ideas (“mild”) to boundary‑pushing, disruptive concepts (“wild”), ensuring we explore the full limits of what is possible before refining for execution.
- Orchestrate a seamless story across all physical touchpoints. This includes directing the strategy for in‑store digital screens, physical print collateral, and subtle experiential details (texture, lighting, flow).
- Partner lock‑step with the Senior, Copywriting. You will work as a cohesive unit to ensure the visual environment and the narrative voice are inextricably linked and mutually elevating.
- Distinct from one‑off installations, you will establish a robust, scalable design system for our client’s stores. This system must be rigid enough to maintain brand consistency but flexible enough to adapt to different footprints and markets.
- Infuse physical spaces with expressive design elements. You will determine how typography, color, and animation live within a three‑dimensional architecture.
- Strong knowledge of visual design, user‑centered experience design, interaction design, brand development, and the creative process.
- Ability to lead internal teams with strategic vision and creative inspiration.
- An entrepreneurial and independent spirit.
- A diverse sense of taste with the knowledge necessary to apply to various challenges.
- Bring deep empathy to the users you design for, the brands you help evolve, and the internal teams you lead and collaborate with.

What You Bring
- 8+ years in creative leadership, specifically with a focus on Experiential Design, Environmental Design, or Retail Innovation.
- A deep understanding of how humans move through and interact with physical spaces. You can read floor plans as well as you can critique a layout.
- A portfolio of work that demonstrates the ability to translate brand strategy into immersive physical experiences. Must show examples of work scaling from concept to built reality.
- Familiarity with material fabrication, print production techniques, and digital display technologies.
- Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with spatial tools (SketchUp, Rhino, or similar) is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic vision and creative inspiration to large, diverse teams.
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex information to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Highly detail‑oriented, proactive, comfortable navigating complex organizations, and focused on strategic problem‑solving and process efficiency.
