Votre profil

What You’ll Do

- Provide evidence-based, individualized care using the full nursing process.

What You’ll Bring:

Education:

- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).

Licensure & Certifications:

- Active RN license (compact or single state).
- BLS – Basic Life Support from AHA required.
- ACLS required.
- CCRN certification preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum 2+ years of Recent Critical Care RN experience (ICU, CVICU, SICU, MICU, or similar).

Skills:

- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.
- Calm under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient advocacy skills.
- Highly adaptable, organized, and team-oriented.

This exciting opportunity allows you to work across various units based on staffing needs, utilizing your unique skills to provide exceptional patient care wherever you're needed most.

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) at WellStar, you'll provide critical respiratory care and education under the guidance of the RC Manager/Director. Your responsibilities include:

- Delivering comprehensive patient care in complex situations, primarily in critical care settings.

- Educating patients and their families while mentoring new staff and students.

- Collaborating with healthcare teams to plan and implement effective care strategies.

Core Responsibilities:

- Customer Service: Ensure thorough patient assessments, documentation, and education while promoting a positive team environment.

- Quality Patient Care: Administer therapies, manage ventilators, perform assessments, and provide specialized care, including assisting in invasive procedures.

- Safety: Maintain high patient safety standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education:

- Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Sciences; required.

- Bachelor's degree required.

Licenses/Certifications:

- Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA Required

- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required

- Additional certifications (e.g., NRP, PALS) preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years of current RT experience required in a clinical setting.

Skills
